I went to clean up and dump my clothes in the laundry and so did the others.
As we were heading to the study room to do our homework, I heard an oddly familiar voice.

"Dinner is readyyy" the voice sang.
We all rushed downstairs to check who it was while Ana walked lazily behind us.
As we got there we saw none other than Olivia!! Our Nanny, what was she doing here? I thought to myself.

As we approached her I saw Juanita ready to attack her with harsh words like before.
But she was silenced by Ana who put a hand in front of her face.
" Save it, Juanita, I called her back here. We didn't employ her so we have no right to fire her, and besides, there's always a second chance.

How did you expect us to explain to our parents that we fired our Nanny? You know they would've rushed back here."Ana lectured.

"That's right, we can't make them come back just because of some petty incident. Remember they left France for a business trip to China? Do you want them to leave their business for this?" Mandy questioned.

Mariam and I watched their conversation not concerned about anything being said because we just wanted to eat.

"Ok y'all do what you want, but if anything happens hold yourself's accountable," Juanita warned.
"Enough of the talking miss panelists let's eat, we still have homework to do" I retorted.

"Welcome back Olivia and please behave yourself this time around" Mariam addressed.

As we were eating I got a message from an unknown number and it wrote...
"We are starting the assignment tomorrow at 6:00 pm, meet me at the squirrel park".

I checked the contact info to see which mannerless person texted without introducing themselves or even saying a "Hi".

And as my eyes landed on the name I choked on the food, with a strand of spaghetti dangling from inside my nostril.

It was none other than Ayaan.
"This is why they said no phones at the table but y'all never listen," Ana said in horror looking at the spaghetti in my nose.

She quickly stood up and wrapped her arms around my stomach and yanked at me to get the food out.
She was successful and I left the dinner table to go blow the strand of spaghetti out.

As I left I saw the rest stare at me with concern and what seemed to be a little bit of curiosity.
When I came back Ana announced exciting news.

"I ordered the bicycles and they'd be here early tomorrow before we leave for school," Ana said with an excited look
We all squealed in excitement and couldn't wait for the next day.
