3 weeks after the previous chapter, Kaeya is walking through the streets of the Capital of Fontaine.

"Where could my sister live? Ahh, there it is the house she described in her letter." Kaeya says as he's walking and comes across his sister's house.
KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! Kaeya knocks on the door in a formal manner.
"Who's there?" His sister asked through the door.
"How do you not know your own brother, Eide?" Kaeya says with just a hint of sarcasm.
"Kaeya!! Damn you've grown" Eide says in surprise as she opens the door fully.
"May I come in?" Kaeya asks innocently
"Of course, you can come in, after all, I'm the one who invited you," she says, ushering him in.
"There will be a familiar but unexpected guest later," Kaeya says hinting at Dotorre's visit very soon.
KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
"Spoke too soon, there he or should I say she is," Kaeya says getting up to open the door.
A tall slightly buxom woman of about 5'9" possessing long silver hair, pointy teeth, and crimson eyes that flicker with a detectable glow.
"Is that you, Zandik?" The twins say in unison.
"Indeed it is me, your favourite uncle and/or teacher," the woman said as she walked into the house and sat down in the living room opposite Eide. Kaeya returns to his seat and they start having a conversation.
"So, how do you sustain yourself given how you don't have a curse of immortality like me, Pierro or Dain?" Kaeya says in genuine curiosity.
"Same way Zand does, biomechanical segments," Eide says, giggling, her dark blue eyes flickering in the dusky light
"Oh, I see, we are the eyes glow gang," Kaeya says taking off his eyepatch as the golden eye burns like the edge of a flame.
"Well, that's new," Eide says with a little bit of surprise.
"Had it since we got to Snezhnaya 500 years ago," said Kaeya
Suddenly, Kaeya's right arm had a muscle spasm and he clenched the arm of the chair he was sitting in, then he gets up and limps over to the most open space in the room while clutching the right side of his face before falling to the floor and starts screaming in agonising pain before starting to darken and grow in size covering half of the space in the large room.
"What is wrong with my brother, Zandik?" Eide asked, worried
"If you're asking about that transformation, that is the result of about 500 years of constant exposure to pure abyssal energy on his body, he discovered it about 6 years ago. As for the pain, I have no clue." Zeta Dottore said in a voice brimming with regret.
The sound-proof room was permeated by the distorted screams of pain from Kaeya's current monstrous state which freaked his sister out as there was a giant monster in her house in a spot formerly inhabited by her brother.
"Zandik, that crazy bitch who calls herself the abyss princess is causing this, I foresaw it earlier but didn't want to worry you" Kaeya reveals in a distorted voice through the pain.
[An additional ability of Kaeya's: foresight gifted to him by his golden eye and the curse]
"Don't worry about me, the Traveler is dealing with that stupid exegete that is in control of that ritual he should be done in a few minutes," Kaeya said still in pain.
He spent the next 5 minutes writhing and groaning in pain, due to his monster state increasing his pain tolerance, interspersed with screaming.
Once the pain finally subsided and Kaeya stood up, he dusted himself off, reverted to his human state, and sat back down clutching the darkened area of skin around his right eye, a sign of the curse he'd been given.
"Why did you just experience a torturous pain like that?" Eide asks in confusion.
"Hillichurls are our former countrymen, Eide, the Abyss Princess just tried to undo the curse that turned them into those monsters, but it caused extreme pain to them and the rest of us that are cursed, I can only assume that Dain and Pierro experienced that same pain," Kaeya said very shaken from the torture he just had to experience.
"What!!!" Eide says in shock "you mean to tell me that those mask-wearing imps are our people transformed into monsters."
"Yeah, Zandik kinda did some research on them and found out they are Khaenri'ahn people," Kaeya said very sad, "I had a mental breakdown when I found out, but I no longer have to kill, I can just exert my will over them in that monster state."
"I think that monster form fits you, especially the colours," Eide says awestruck by some of what she had just seen.
They spent the rest of the time that they spent together catching up with each other and talking about future plans such as how the female Dottore segment is actually Focalors' assistant and plans for Sumeru including Scaramouche's big plan.
