TW: descriptions of gore, blood, burns, injured skin

─NETEYAM HISSES AS his grandmother rubs a remedy on his wounded back, "Ow! Ow!" After treating Attiah's burnt back (which was obviously much worse than she thought, as Kiri gasped and her grandmother's eyes widened in shock) Mo'at moved to Neteyam's injuries.

"Aw! Want a little kiss on the boo boo?" Spider teases from behind Neteyam, Lo'ak laughing along.

"Easy for you to say, dipshit," From where she is sitting cross-legged to the side of the hut, Attiah sticks her tongue out at the blonde human boy, who sticks his tongue out back at her.

"Watch your language," Neteyam hits her lightly on the leg, and even in his suffering, he plays the big brother.

"Give him this," Kiri says, handing Tuk a palm-sized stress ball to squeeze to relieve his discomfort. "Okay. Here, "Tuk grins sweetly at her big brother as she hands it to him, and Neteyam returns the smile.

"I would use Yalnabark," Kiri shifts from her position in front of Tuk to give more of the remedy to her grandmother.

"Oh you would? And who is Tsahik?"

"You are gran- move!" Kiri shoves Lo'ak out of the way, "You are grandmother, but Yalnabark is better," Kiri crouches down next to her and Mo'at applies more, causing Neteyam to wail again.

"It stings less."

His back is plagued with deep cuts. He was dripping with blood as they went in, and he still requires medical attention.

"Mighty warrior." Attiah tunes out the conversation and what Lo'ak is saying. From her position in the tent, she can hear the quiet conversation of her parents.

"... It is very hard on them"

"I know."

"You are very hard on them."

Attiah doesn't mean to eavesdrop- well, she does. But not in a way that she's in their business. Just in an 'I happen to be in hearing distance of this conversation and listening to it would be more interesting than whatever else I am doing,' way.

She can mainly hear her father's gruff voice, which is difficult to interpret due to their distance. There's also the clicking of the gun he's toying with, which is interfering with her hearing of their words. Her mother's voice, however, is very clear.
