─ATTIAH FINDS HERSELF in the same predicament as earlier, sitting by herself deep in thought. Tsireya's idea of getting Attiah to relax truly did help her, however, now it is a matter of what she can actually say to Ao'nung. She is still furious with him, but she doesn't feel like that if they were in distance of each other that she'd jump straight back on him and continue pounding his head in... so that's good.

"Hey! Have you seen Lo'ak?" Neteyam wanders over to her in their family pod, Attiah in her little corner.

"Not since he went to apologise to Ao'nung. I've been waiting for him to finish," she shrugs, not thinking much of it.

Neteyam furrows his brows, "That was, like, two hours ago."

"Yeah... it was. That's weird," Attiah says but loses interest, clearly something else on her mind. Her eyes are unfocused while she subconsciously nibbles on the inside of her left cheek.

Neteyam too shrugs off the thought before taking a seat next to his younger sister. "What are you thinking about?" he inquires curiously, capturing her attention. The teen girl releases her inner cheek from her teeth, quirking her eyebrow at him.

The older boy rolls his eyes, "You've got your thinking face on."

Attiah's jaw drops- a little in offence and a little in humour, "Wow... I use my brain that little that when I do think, I have a face for it?"

Neteyam just smiles toothlessly. What he's not saying is that her twin brother makes the exact same face when he's thinking hard.

Now it's Attiah's turn to roll her eyes, "I was thinking about what to say to Ao'nung when I speak to him later."

"Sorry?"

Attiah is confused, "For what?"

Neteyam snorts, "No, maybe say 'sorry'."

"Oh! But I'm not sorry. If I could do it again, I would. He shouldn't have done that to Kiri, and I won't apologise for something that I don't feel sorry about."

"Attiah, I completely agree but that doesn't matter. He is the Chief's son, and they let us live here with them. The disrespect it would bring to them isn't worth your morals. Just say sorry even if you don't mean it- to make peace," Neteyam levels with her, not wanting her to get into even more trouble.

"I don't believe in lying just to make other people happy."

"Okay then..." Neteyam scratches his head and Attiah notices how he is truly racking his brain to think of some way to help her. "Don't lie. What part of what you did are you at least a little bit sorry for?"
