─ATTIAH HAS ALWAYS HAD things in common with each and every one of her family members. And for Lo'ak, he was always the person she could relate to most- from their shared knack for trouble to their same sense of humor. Lo'ak, aside from him being her twin, is a person she can see parts of herself in and has always known she can rely on to be understood.

Lately, none of this has been true.

Currently, Attiah sits with her legs crossed in the mauri pod while weaving a blanket out of yarn her mother brought with them. The reef climate is cooler than the forest which has caused Attiah to wake up shivering each day of the week they have been here.

Lo'ak is sitting near the entrance of the pod, away from her, silently sharpening one of Attiah's knives she lent to him. He doesn't seem angry or mad at her. He is just... not talking to her. It feels they haven't done much of any talking since they have been here.

Well they've talked (said words to one another) but they haven't talked. Not in the same way they did before everything happened and they had to move.

To Attiah, Lo'ak doesn't seem to want to spend time with her anymore. It hurts. It feels as if there is a wall between them and have drifted away from one another. The twins have always been each other's other half- the person you wouldn't see without the other.

Whether it is because he is adjusting to the new home, or he is feeling sad since Spider is gone, Attiah doesn't know.

Spider. If him being missing is the reason Lo'ak has been avoiding her that whole week then Attiah generally does not understand. Spider was both of their best friend's since they were little. He was both of their first (and only) friends outside of each other.

She really does miss that dumb human.

She has been thinking of him and Lo'ak more this morning after her dream last night...

Just a few trees past where the Sullys live, a seven year old Attiah and Lo'ak are swinging from branch to branch, loud laughs filling the air as well as a childlike joy. Because that is what they are; children.
