I run to the bathroom, kneeling over the toilet, bile climbing up my throat. I throw up, my head pounding softly. If anyone's keeping track, I no longer like my eggs runny.
"Val your phones ringing." Nicole calls from inside my room, "little busy" I reply, it stops and rings again a minute later while I remain seating on the bathroom floor kneeling over the toilet bowl.
"it's ringing again" she calls out, I hold my stomach, nausea washing over me in one hit. "then pick up" I shut my eyes squeezing when I feel like throwing up again, "I'm bringing you the medication" I gag.
The phone rings again a few minutes later when she comes in with the medicine "do you want me to get it?" Nicole says on her way out of my bathroom to get me a glass of water after handing me the pill "that's okay, let it go to voicemail." The ringing stops.
