"Thank you everyone for coming.Have a good night" you guys ended your anniversary party. It was your 2nd anniversary.
It was a small party with close friends and family. Mikey doesn't like to celebrate it. But you convinced him to celebrate it before anyone notices how unhappy your marriage is!
Almost everyone was gone. "This was tiring. I'm going upstairs" Mikey said. But you called him. "I have something to tell you. It's important" You said sounding serious. Mikey stopped. He looked at you. "What could be so important that you have to tell me now?" He asked.
You ignored his question and went directly to your point. "I want a divorce. I'm not gonna repeat my words. I'm sure you have heard what I just said". You said looking directly at him. He looked like he was shocked. Which you didn't expect.
"What are you talking about? You want a divorce?" He asked. "Stop acting dumb Mikey. I'm sure you know what I'm saying".
Mikey didn't come at your first anniversary party. It was held in a banquet hall with so many people including his famous racer friends. You remember that day you couldn't stop crying. It was so heartbreaking and embarrassing. He humiliated you Infront of so many people. But you still put on a smile and made some excuse of his absence.
But today he was here. Your marriage was an arrange marriage. Not completely. You both were in the same school and you had a crush on him but he never saw you that way. In these two years you have done everything to make this marriage work. But he has never put any effort. You have sacrificed a lot but he was always rude to you and hurt you in so many ways.
He even had an affair with a girl. He wouldn't come home most of the nights. But later this year he stopped doing those things. He has become more reserved than usual. But you didn't mind. You have stopped caring about him. You were sick and tired of this marriage. You couldn't take it anymore.
But he was acting a lot strange. He started caring about you. Giving you gifts and all but you didn't care. You thought maybe he's playing with your feelings. And you won't let that happen.
"But why? Why do you want a divorce?" He asked. "Are you seriously asking me this question?" You scoffed. "You should ask yourself that question. Now you can be free from me Mikey. And I'm sick and tired of your games. I have sacrificed everything for you,I have loved you since we were in highschool,I have done everything to make you happy but" you paused for a moment.
Your eyes were getting teary. "But you have never gave me those things back. You have never cared for me. You have never loved me. You took my feelings as a joke,You even cheated on me . And I have tolerated everything. So I have made up mind. I'm leaving you" you finished and Mikey just listened.
He knew what he did was wrong but he has reflected on his mistakes and started liking you. But he has never told you that. "No.I won't divorce you. I know I did very wrong to you and I shouldn't even say this. I sound like a jerk but_" you cut him off.
"But what Mikey? You wanna keep me as a maid here?" You joked. Suddenly you felt something on your lips. Mikey kissed you. For the first time ever he has kissed you and it was your first kiss. As much as you didn't want to stop you pushed him.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?" You asked being angry. "I love you yn. I have realized it. I wanted to say it to you but I just couldn't.I was too ashamed of myself. I just didn't know how to tell you. I'm sorry" his voice broke. He was crying too. You both were a crying mess at that moment.
You didn't know what to say. "Ca- can you give me a chance? I promise I won't hurt you anymore. Just please don't leave me" he said and looking at his pleading eyes you couldn't help but hugged him. You were feeling pathetic but you loved him too much.
"I love you,I'm sorry" Mikey said as he caressed your hair. "I love you too" you said.

It's just my test exams are going on and also I have board exams this year so I'm really busy and swamped with my life mainly studies. But I will try to update once in a while.
