"Ughh man today is so hot,let's get some ice cream" Draken said. As you,Mikey,Draken and senju were walking after school to get at Toman's meeting spot to meet the others.
You were walking beside Draken behind Mikey and senju as you saw them walking together. Senju was walking holding Mikey's arm.
She was talking non stop and making jokes and Mikey was also laughing at her. It was clear how happy he's with her.
You like Mikey but you have never shown or tell anyone not even your bestie Emma who's Mikey's sister. You swore to keep this a secret untill you get to know who Mikey likes.
"Are you ok?" You came out of your thoughts when Draken asked you. "Y-yeah I'm fine" you faked a smile. Draken kinda felt something was off.
You guys went into the CVS to get ice cream. You got your favourite flavour. You were about to pick one for Mikey but before you can give it to him,senju already got him one.
"Thanks senju" Mikey said it to her as she smiled. You sadly put down the other one. "Y/n were you gonna have two of these?" Mikey asked. "No I wasn't. I accidentally picked up two" you lied making your way to the cashier.
Since senju came eveyething has changed. Mikey started to spend less time with you. And you started to feel Mikey likes senju too. It felt like as she was stealing Mikey away from you and you couldn't hold him anymore.
Mikey noticed that you were being distant. And you were kind of avoiding him. He thought maybe you were stressed about something.
After the toman meeting. Senju left and you were about to go back to your home when Mikey called you out.
"Y/n wait" you stopped in your tracks. "What is it Mikey?" You asked him. "Is something wrong? You are kind of avoiding me" he said. "No nothing is wrong? And what if I'm avoiding you?" You said.
Mikey frowned "What do you mean?" He asked." I'm sure you know what I mean. Are you that dumb to not know that I like you and I know you like senju so that's why I'm avoiding to grow my feelings for you" you have said it. The feeling which you swore to keep it a secret.
Mikey was surprised. He didn't expect that from you."What? You like me?" He asked. And you nodded. "Y/n I- I don't know what to say I-" you cut him off.
"I know Mikey. You don't like me,you like her senju. And honestly you don't have to worry about me I'm fine. Just forget about this ok?" You said holding back your tears.
"Y/N I'm so sorry I didn't know" he said feeling guilty. "It's ok Mikey. Like I said you don't have to be sorry. I will be going now see you at school" saying that you left the spot.
Mikey was standing there dumbfounded. He never knew that you had liked him. He felt stupid that how he might have hurt you and how could he not know that?
As you were walking home. Tears kept falling from your eyes. You knew this was gonna happen you knew he like likes her and not you. Why does it hurt so much? Why?
