I'm Marrying You?!

Chapter 5

~~~Narrator’s POV~~~

“Isn’t she the loveliest gal?” Mrs. Alvarez gushed to her husband. They were

inside their Rolls Royce, their son was in his own car.

 

“Yes, the Ho young lady is very pretty.” Mr. Alvarez replied to his wife.

 

“I’m so thankful we’ve made that arrangement when they were born, they were

made for each other!” Mrs. Alvarez put her palms together.

 

“But, honey, when should we tell them?” Her husband asked.

 

“We will tell them when our friends arrived.” She replied, referring to the Ho

elders.

Mr. Alvarez and Mr. Ho both went to the same university; they spent time

together and eventually became best friends. Over the years their friendship has

become stronger, thus when Mr. Alvarez’s first born was born they were

disappointed because Calvin, the Ho first born was also a male, luckily, the second

child came, Chelsea.

It was around 3 AM when Calvin woke up from his sleep due to someone

screaming. He got up from his bed realizing who was making the noise. He placed

his cardigan on and made his way to his sister’s room.

He found Chelsea in her bed, she was screaming in her sleep.

 

“Hey, hey, Chelsea, it’s okay, relax, no one’s after you.” He said soothingly as he

caressed her hair.

Chelsea’s tears were falling from her eyes. This thing happens from time to time.

Her nightmares began right after……something happened to her.

 

“Chels, it’s okay, I’m here.” Calvin shook gently. Chelsea’s eyes opened.

 

“What..happened?” She asked. Calvin smiled at her.

 

“Bad dream again, huh? You almost made my ears fall.” Calvin said lightly as he

handed her a glass of water. Chelsea sat up.

 

“I’m sorry, oppa.” She took a sip from the glass.

 

“It’s okay.” Calvin rubbed her hair playfully and stood up.
