"hey uhm, future me?" leo asks walking up to leonardo, sitting down next to him crossing his legs. he looks down at his home, new york city. leonardo looks at leo, an eyebrow raising.
"whats up kid?" he asks his past self curiously. he doesnt face his future self, sinking in to the view from above. "did we save our brothers... in the future?" he asks, his voice cracking like hes about to cry. "were we all safe? c-casey said they died but.. thats not true, right?"
on his last word he looks up to his future self, studying leonardos facial expression. his eyes were wide and glistering from hidden tears, biting his lip trying not to speak. a huge lump forms in the back of his throat trying his best to speak before he breaks down.
"kid..." he looks to the beautiful view leo was originally staring at. "enjoy the time you have left, okay? times may seem hard but you'll get through it. now that youve changed your timeline, youll be a good leader kid." a few tears stream dow his cheek, quivering at his own words.
leo looks at the same direction, his feet now dangling over the building and he is still sitting down. a hand gets placed onto his shoulder, flinching from the sudden touch he turns around to see his eldest brother smiling, mikey and donnie behind him smiling.
"ready to go back bro?" raphael asks. leo quickly looks back to his side where future leonardo was, but now hes gone. his gaze shoots back at raph smirking, getting up and walking towards him. "lets go team."
