I woke at a stupidly early time, I'm not sure what woke me but it put me on the alert, I checked everything, how secure the building was, the cameras and I checked that everyone was still safely tucked up in bed. Nothing seemed out of place and I felt a little twitchy so I knew there was no use going back to bed, Checking my watch I saw that it was barely 5 am which meant I'd had less than three hours of sleep. I knew that Minho would be waking up soon so I decided to go see if he wanted to stay home and get a couple of extra hours of sleep before coming in for the late shift. I'd go open up the shop for the bakers at 6 am. I showered and headed to Minho's apartment upstairs. I let myself in, none of us locked our doors unless we wanted to be left alone. Minho was a fairly light sleeper, usually just opening his front door would wake him up but today he didn't even stir when I walked into his bedroom.
"Min," I said quietly while I crouched down beside the bed, he didn't move "Min..."I repeated a little louder as I put my hand on the top of his head and ruffled his hair lightly.
"hmm" he hummed still pretty much asleep, he was obviously exhausted and I was beginning to wish I'd just let him sleep and deal with the frustrated annoyance that Minho radiated when he couldn't complete something he deemed as his responsibility.
"Stay in bed" I huffed "I'll cover the shop today" I slowly got to my feet so that I didn't disturb him any further.
"No..." he mumbled and dragged himself up into a sitting position "I've got it" He yawned and then got to his feet.
"Min...after last night you must be exhausted...go back to bed" I got in front of him so that he couldn't move too far away.
"Binn...I'm fine...I can sleep in tomorrow" he grunted as he stretched, then patted me on the shoulder, stepped around me, and headed towards the bathroom.
"Don't argue with me...we both know that I can easily overpower you and pin you to the bed," I said with more than a little frustration, I wish I'd just taken his keys and opened up the shop without waking him up.
"and we both know what would happen the second you let go," he said quietly with a menacing smirk that I knew meant he wouldn't back down no matter how much I tried to argue with him.
"I'm making it my personal mission to find your little Ghost purely so I can recruit them to side with me in arguments" I grumbled narrowing my eyes at him.
"Sure because a marked prey will have that much control over me" he huffed and headed for the bathroom
"You're borderline obsessed Min...you're going to want a contract or a bond with that guy the second you get to taste him" I chuckled, knowing it would annoy him.
"yeah, yeah" he grumbled dismissively as he disappeared behind the bathroom door. "shouldn't you be busy getting all giggly about seeing your crush later" he called back sounding sassy.
"Nah... I planning it specifically for when I get into work later so you have to deal with me not focusing" I huffed and headed back towards the front door just as I heard him turning the water on. I was reasonably sure he had heard me but if he had replied I hadn't heard him, so I headed down to the dungeon to work out for a little while. Chan and Hyunjin seemed to be still asleep curled around each other like a couple of cats, Jeongin looked like he was in a very deep sleep but Seungmin was sitting on the side of his bed looking like he was struggling to wake up. "Seungmin, do you have class this morning?" I asked quietly, he shook his head slightly "then you don't need to get up, go back to bed," Seungmin nodded and then rolled back under the blankets next to Jeongin.
"Who's opening the shop?" Chan asked in a sleepy voice, Hyunjins head resting comfortably on his chest at just the right height that Chan had his chin resting on the top of his head. I walked over to the glass wall of their room.
