We were now all in the limo on our way to the ball. Leo made me sit with him while everyone else was on the other side which was kinda annoying because I could barely hear anyone. His hand was on my thigh while he was on his phone. Isabella and Marco were sitting on opposite sides since Leo didn't allow them to sit next to each other even though they were adults. I watch them give a smirk and a wink now and then. Gabi was on her phone, Leo's's twin fell asleep and lastly, Matteo was playing with his daughter it was super cute.
We have about 20 on the road which is ridiculous. My ass is starting to hurt from sitting too long so I keep moving and it doesn't help that this dress is hella itchy. "Stop moving around or else I'm going to have to do something to you while everyone's watching" Leo whispered in my ear. "I can't help it I'm uncomfortable," I said with a groan. "This is what you get for wanting to come we could have stayed back at the mansion, plus this ball is way too dangerous for you," He said while grabbing my hand with the ring on it and squeezing it. "well since I have no choice to be apart of the Mafia now I have to do mafia things," I said and he chuckled at me.
"Plus one of these days you're going to have to teach me to use a gun," I said with a smile and he glared at me. I then looked at him with puppy eyes and he groaned "Fine of these days Amore" he said and I smiled. "Can this Limo go any faster I'm about to piss myself" Matteo yelled. "Well maybe if you didn't drink all that wine next to you, you wouldn't have to" Leo spoke glaring at Matteo. Matteo groaned and put his head back on the seat watching his daughter play on his phone with a frown.
"I can't believe someone like you can be friends with someone like him" I whispered to Leo. "As much as he annoys the shit out of me he's my best friend and I love him," he said with a chuckle and I chuckled as well.
(15 minutes later) We finally arrived at this damn Ball and it was huge all the limos are aligned in the parking lot while everyone was walking in. We all started getting out and walking in but Leo stopped me when we fully stepped onto the pavement. "We're going in last," he said and I nodded then he grabbed my waist and turned me so I was facing him. "This place can get dangerous really fast so I need you to stay by my side at all times Si?" He spoke in a stern tone.
"Nothing Is going to happen to me Leo, You know I can handle myself," I said with a smile. "I know Amore but just please tell me You will stay by my side" a frown started forming on his face. "Fine I will" his frown turned into a smile real fast and pulled me into a soft kiss. "I have something to ask you when we leave this place I'm going to take you somewhere," he said with a smile and I shook my head okay. I wonder what he's going to ask me.
"It's time to go inside, you ready?" He asked me while grabbing my hand. I nodded my head in response and we started walking inside. Everyone was in beautiful gowns while I look like a fucking which. "Everyone looks so pretty " I whispered to Leo. "Do worry mi Amore your the prettiest one in here" Leo said with a smile. "Well I know that but I look like I'm going to a fucking funeral" I frowned and Leo chuckled. "Amara you look so beautiful mi cara (My dear)" Romana said. She took a car with her driver earlier than us to help set up. "Thank you, Romana, you do as well," I said with a smile.
