-DEEP WATERS-
Olivia took a seat at her desk and exhaled a breath. Dianne Pette wanted her to come onto the show, but she declined. She's got no time to entertain her or the world, despite her last tweet.
Now she regrets even tweeting something like that.
"Okay, Mr.Reyes, let me bring you up to speed." She says scattering through the papers in front of her. It's only about ten, but for her it's an entire stack. Eight out of ten of these papers are all meeting for different logo brands. The other three are for weddings couples. She'll have to contact them as soon as possible.
As for her emails? Tons of commissions she's yet to start or finish. It's a mess.
"I have a meeting tomorrow with Jay Bryers, he's the owner of Trinkets, a suit company. The other seven meetings I have to attend are weeks apart so they're not that important right now, but I have completed three of their logo's thus far." She explains.
Olivia grabbed a pen and her notebook, giving it to him. "I write down everything I have to complete in that book right there and once I'm done with them, I mark them off. However, there are times that I do forget to send them so...remind me always if I had delivered someone's piece."
Alexander glanced at the perfect cursive, turning the page to see more, and more and more words and ideas and different labels on every page he turned. So far, he's spotted five check marks on the one's she completed. Others have the word, 'pending', written beside them as others are blank.
He had no idea an artist had to endure this much work. He thought it to be quite the ease, however that's obviously far from it.
"My emails are filled with commissions, and I want to at least give people what they're willing to pay for. For those however I want you to sort them out from easiest to hardest. Mainly from light work to two days of work."
He nods in understanding. Olivia gathered the papers and handed them to him as well. "I will be out for tomorrow for my meeting with Mr.Bryers so I want you to stay here until I get back. You can help yourself to anything, got all of that?"
Alexander lock eyes with her and nodded. "Yes ma'am."
"Good. Also, since you're going to be my plus one for the ball, I would like to take your measurements, but we'll do that the day after tomorrow."
"Yes ma'am."
"Glad to see you're keeping up. Speaking of which, did you set up your devices?"
"Yes ma'am."
"Amazing, same email and phone number, right?" He nods.
Olivia gave him a once over. He's wearing the suit she bought him. The cologne she got for him and his hair, gosh. Olivia thought it wrong to think of the man in such a manner but after his makeover she can't find herself to take her mind off of him.
"Did you walk here, Mr.Reyes?" She asks, crossing her legs. She noticed how early he was again. Literally the moment she stepped into her kitchen to get herself coffee, he showed up. She doesn't live close to the city either. So, to see him be here on time every morning is both impressive and concerning.
"Yes ma'am."
"Hmm, so you don't have a car?"
"N-no ma'am."
