Alexander accompanied himself on the couch of her open living room. He sat there waiting as she took herself a shower. He had asked her multiple times if she was alright which she responded yes to, over and over again., but he was still adamant on her going to the hospital for safety measures.
That was an hour ago and she's still haven't shown out it. To be honest, it worried the man tenfold. Could she had have slipped and knocked her head and possibly die or drown? He frowns as the thought came across his dome.
Alexander glanced around before standing to his feet. It's so quiet, too quiet. He pranced over to the wall window, peering over the city. He envisioned what it would look like during the late hours. He thinks it's honestly the best spot for a view. To tower over the city must seem like a powerful feeling to have.
"You should see it at night."
Alexander glanced back to see Olivia walking up to him. Her hair is damp, and she's dressed in a silk black bathroom robe that reached slightly above her knees. Alexander watched as she eased next to him, crossing her arms. He caught the scent of vanilla and cinnamon, a power duo in his senses.
Then his eyes ventured to the band aids on her forehead. "Does your head hurt ma'am?"
"Hm?" She gazed at him, her hazel eyes reaching his. Alexander kept his posture as he awaited the answer. She touched her head and chuckled dryly. "Oh, yeah, I'm fine. If my head begins to spin, I'll let you know." He nods slightly.
Olivia sighed and then cleared her throat. "Are you hungry?" He shook his head no. Olivia had stopped herself from moving upon seeing his answer. She was going to at least make something for the man but, since his answer wasn't one, she was hoping for she just nodded.
"Okay, if you say so. However, we need to talk about your money situation, the car accident can be left to me. If anyone has seen that crash that knows me are sure to brew questions." Olivia shook her head and took a seat at the table. She is yet to check Twitter or Instagram. She's scared to do so, but at least there was a bit of good out of it.
Firstly, catching a criminal without knowing so and two, Alexander being here of course. And now that it's crossed her mind Olivia gazed at him. He had returned his attention back to the view.
"Are you okay?" She asks, making him look at her. "You...knocked that guy out. Do you know karate or something?"
"Jujitsu" He responds tersely.
"Interesting. B-by the way I'm sorry about nearly killing you. For that I'll pay you double this week."
Alexander turned his body to her, putting his hands behind him. "That is not needed. Just don't stare next time, and if you'd like to do so, I can drive the next time." He boldly answers. Olivia, who was not expecting his words, nearly choked on air.
"M-money, let's talk money. Now, you'll be paid weekly of course. Since you say you would like your money in hand I will comply. Just give me a minute to get ready and I'll go to the nearest ATM to withdraw."
"You should rest, ma'am."
Olivia exhaled and sat back. It was silent for a moment before she spoke. "I'm scared about what people may say when they find out. I mean sure the guy was a criminal but what if it was someone else; then what?" Olivia shook her head. "Then there you were knocking him out. This is going to cause a stir." Upon saying that she chuckled. "The Stir." Olivia got up from her seat and went to the living room, turning the TV on.
She changed the channel twice before reaching Stir news. "Welcome back to The Stir." There was an applause. "We were talking about Justin Timberlake's nude leak, but we got new news. More like, tea to stir." She grins along with her live crowd.
"It is said that Olivia Garden has gotten into a car crash. Yeah, scary stuff. There were a few people that recognized her and decided to record the ordeal. Now, this story is pretty crazy, so I'll let you all watch." Dianne showed a clip on the big screen that was behind her, and Olivia shook her head.
"Just as I thought. The world needs to learn their fucking business." She grits out. The video went on, showing everything that happened, even up to when Alexander knocked the man out.
The crowd ooed and her car crash earlier this afternoon. "Now, here's the thing to this story. The guy in the video was actually a criminal." Dianne nodded, glancing back at the screen. "Now onto the double twist in this story. Him." Dianne played the clip and paused when Alexander stepped, out of the car.
"This young man right here. Exactly who is this man? Could it be that Olivia Garden has a boyfriend? Or is he our mystery assistant?" Dianne picked up her pallid glass cup and took a dramatic sip from it.
Alexander took a step next to Olivia, looking at the screen. Olivia threw him a look, but his eyes stayed glued on the screen in front of him. His posture changed and his hands disappeared into his pockets.
"We need to know who this guy is people. Boyfriend or Assistant?" Dianne then gasped. "And could he be her plus one to the Duke's ball? Oh, this is a very hot story. Olivia Garden, darling we haven't heard from you for about a week now, but what is it that you need to say about this?"
Olivia sneered and turned the TV off. "Stupid internet. I don't need to tell you anything." Olivia glanced a Alexander and glared. "I shouldn't have hired you. Tch, this is what I get for being a good Samaritan." She mutters.
Alexander faced her fully. Olivia was sure he's closer than he was now. "Do you wish to fire me ma'am?" He asks. Olivia stared at him, her words getting stuck in her head. After a long ear ringing silence Alexander spoke again.
"You can...if you want."
Olivia's eyes drift to his lips before meeting his eyes again. She can't fire him. No, she won't. Alexander took a step forward, closing whatever gap there was between them. Olivia caught his scent and her eyes fluttered closed. She felt a throb in her lower region and cussed herself.
"Well, Mrs.Garden...do you want to fire me so your life can go back to the way it was?" His words were hushed, and cherry picked. Alexander leant forward, his mouth grazing her ear. "Or do you want me to stay?"
Her hands reached his chest. "Stay." She breathlessly responds.
Alexander stepped back and bowed slightly. The action pulled Olivia back together. "Thank you." Alexander rose again and turned on his heel, leaving the room. Olivia stood there wondering what in the world just happened.
Did he flirt?
Olivia threw her hands over her ears and shook her head. "Dammit!"
