-INFAMOUS-

Olivia finished her makeup and set the brush down. She studied herself and exhaled a shaky breath. Olivia stood to her feet, gazing at her attire. Tonight's the big night. She's both nervous and excited for this night.

There was a knock at the door that broke her from her thoughts. Olivia cleared her throat and exhaled another anxious breath. After tonight she will pay him and send him on his way. Olivia opened the door, a stern expression on her features.

She would not give him power over her like she did last night. She couldn't believe the abs he'd been hiding under his suit the entire time though. But she knew he was fit due to looking at his arms.

She studied him, noting the white suit and red bowtie and handkerchief that's tucked neatly into his breast pocket. As for Olivia she's wearing a white gown, almost too poofy and it was something she picked out as well. Her hair is styled in a bun with a few curly strands hanging loose. This is their color theme, red and white.

To be frank she's nervous.

"I have something for you." Alexander removed the box from behind his back and presented it to her. Olivia glanced down, not wanting it.

"I-

"Just open it. It would go well with your outfit." He cuts in.

Olivia hesitated but, in the end, took the box from his hand. She opened it, her eyes drifting over a ruby necklace with a pair of red ruby earrings to match. She was sure it sparkled in the night. She cleared her throat and took the necklace from its place.

The metal was cold to the touch, but it was the prettiest thing she's ever been given.

"May I?" He asks. Olivia didn't make a fuss about it and handed him the necklace in which he took. Olivia spun around, swallowing a heavy lump in her throat. Her heart cried out, but her actions stayed firm.

The silence was unbearable. Alexander snapped the necklace and Olivia placed the earrings in. All being done in complete silence. She tossed the box into the room and closed the door. If there wasn't tension between the two, he probably would've grinned at that action.

Neither of them complimented each other's outfits and they left the hotel in silence. As they passed others, they got stares and compliments. Olivia and Alexander reached the front where there's a white limo waiting for them.

Alexander opened the door for her, and she went in, him falling inside shortly after. And she knows why she kept him around; he's always got things done on time. Again, there was that thick, suffocating tension.

None of them said a word and it was slowly eating her up inside. She hates this, but...she'll be out of it soon.

An hour and a half later and Alexander arrived at the Duke's castle. It's five minutes past midnight, which made Olivia perturbed. Alexander got out and Olivia shook her head, closing her eyes slightly. Her car door opened, and he offered his hand, which she did not take.
