Friends or foe

Max and Charles decide to come out to their closest friends, which include Daniel, Lando, Pierre, Antoine, Victoria, and Alex. They are nervous but hopeful that their friends will support them.

Daniel is the first to react and he is ecstatic for them. He offers his unconditional support and tells them how happy he is for them. Lando is similarly supportive and congratulates them on their relationship.

Pierre is a bit more reserved in his response. He tells them that he needs time to process the news and think about what it means for their friendship. He ultimately decides to support them, but it takes him a little bit of time to get there.

Antoine is shocked by the news and takes a little bit of time to adjust, but he ultimately comes around and is happy for them. Victoria and Alex are similarly supportive and are happy for their friends.

At the same time, they also tell Carlos, who is Lando's teammate. Carlos is shocked and appalled by the news as it goes against his religious beliefs. He tells Max and Charles that he cannot support their relationship and that it goes against everything he stands for.

Max and Charles are saddened by Carlos' reaction but understand where he is coming from. They respect his beliefs and try to explain their side of the story. However, Carlos remains steadfast in his position and it creates tension between them.

Despite Carlos' response, Max and Charles are grateful for the support they received from their friends. They know that not everyone will understand or accept their relationship, but they are proud to be together and will not let anyone dim their love for each other.
