"You are grounded Butters! Go to your room for the rest of the night!" The booming voice of his dad made Butters quiver in his place.
Butters didn't say anything but just nod. His head low, he quickly ran up the stairs to his room without a second thought.
Linda put her hand on her husband's shoulder. "Don't you think you're being harsh on our Butters?"
"That boy still needs to learn how to behave properly," Stephen declares, sweeping her hand off his shoulder then leaving the room.
Linda just sighed. The reason he got grounded was because Butters had just only came home 2 minutes late from when he was actually supposed to arrive. She guessed that his father would make him skip dinner again as an extra punishment to really put him in his place.

7:20 PM..
(Butters' POV)I sat at my desk silently, drawing small doodles on it as I sulk. My head was resting on my hand.
I wish I could listen to some music, but of course my dad took my phone away.
I tapped my pencil on the table boredly. 1 minute... 3 minutes... 7 minutes... 11 minutes...
—————TIMESKIP AGAIN———
9:48 PM..2 hours have passed. I had now decided to move my sulking to my bed.
On most of the days I'm grounded, no one ever bothers me. It was lonely and boring, but also perfect at the same time.
I try to think of my 'solitude' as a good thing. I get to reflect on the things I did wrong.. I get to wear whatever I want, and I finally get to breathe (do whatever) without being scolded for it.
And at 10:00, my dad usually comes around to tells me to go to sleep, but he never actually comes in. I sleep when he tells me to, mostly at least.. Don't tell!
I swayed my legs in air as I stared up at the ceiling, letting my mind drift. But then suddenly..
*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!!*
I quickly lift my head up to look at the door. I expected my dad to say something, but no. There was just silence.
Was that just my imagination?
I suspiciously stared at the door for a few more seconds before averting my attention back to the ceiling. But as soon as I did..
*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!*
Okay that was definitely not my imagination. I glanced at the door again, just to realize that the knocking was not coming from the door but from somewhere else. The knocking continued, each one fluctuating in volume.
I soon concluded that it was coming from the window. I wonder if whoever is knocking on my window is trying to annoy me or trying to come in. I turn my head to it and see nothing but darkness, probably because I didn't have my distance glasses but I didn't care much.
I slowly open my window, trying not to attract my parents from the sound. I look everywhere, seeing nothing but street lights and houses.
I say to myself, "Must be some prank.. I guess-"
"Buuttercup!" A familiar someone shouts in my face. You guessed it, that someone was Kenny.
It just so happened to be raining heavily outside. I didn't want to get grounded for any more longer, but the fella might get sick..
"Hurry, Kenny, come inside! You're soaking wet!"
"Woah there.. at least take me out to dinner first." Kenny replies teasingly then smirks. I ignore his words and assisted him in getting into my window.
