~Hunter POV~

Hunter and them had just gotten back from their camping trip. Everyone was really hungry. He ran into the kitchen and grabbed a chocolate bar, or more specifically, a Hershey's chocolate bar.

"Hijo, eat some real food."

Camila suggested.

"Mama, I've been craving something sweet.. please?"

"Alright Hunter, just don't get yourself sick."

Camila said as she went over to Hunter and ruffled his hair. She then left the room. Hunter took another bite of the chocolate bar. He felt something sticking out of his hair. A little tiny piece of paper.

'I have been noticing you being depressed lately, hijo. You can tell mama anything when you're comfortable.'

Hunter smiled at the small note and shoved it into his pocket. He left the room and entered the living room. His sister and her girlfriend were cuddling and watching YouTube, and Gus was talking to Willow. He sat next to Willow.

"Hey Hunter!"

Gus said before shoving a picture into his face.

"Eh? Gus what is that?"

"It's a bird called a Purple Martin! They are my new obsession!"

Gus explained. He kept showing more pictures he took of different birds. But one definitely sticked out to Hunter. It looked a lot like Flapjack. He didn't want to cry about him now, so he stood up.

"I.. I'm going to go to bed.. good night.."

He said. He soon left the living room and went into the room he slept in. He laid in his bed, and began to tear up. Flapjack was like his child, now, after a short matter of time, he was gone.

~Willow POV~

Willow was still talking to Gus. She was looking through the photos he had took. She had stopped flipping through them once she saw a vibrant red bird with a black face that surrounded it's tiny beak. It looked almost identical to Flapjack.

"That one is called a Cardinal! It looks a lo-"

"I know.."

Willow cut him off. She gave the photos back to Gus and ran out of the room. Gus shrugged and kept researching stuff on the family laptop.

Willow heard sniffles coming from the other side of the door. She slowly opened it to see Hunter crying in his bed. Willow walked over to him and sat on his bed.

"Hunter, are you alright?"

Willow asked. Hunter began to sit up. He wiped one of his tears away.

"I'm fine, captain.. you didn't have to check up on me."

He lied to her. Willow knew he lied.

"Stop lying, the red bird.. it had to remind you of Flapjack."

Willow said. Hunter nodded. He began to cry again. Willow hugged him, and he hugged back.

"You know, we all miss him."

"I know.. who wouldn't?"

Hunter said with a giggle. He began to sit up properly.

"Well I do wanna talk about some things. Like.. childhood."

Hunter mentioned. He rubbed the back of his neck while looking down.

"Alright.. I would like that. I need to talk to someone about it too.."

Willow said. They talked about there childhood for hours. It made Willow very happy that Hunter could open up to her like this. Soon she heard a phrase that changed her happiness into sorrow. The same phrase, rather title she was called as a younger kid, and still gets called to this day.

"Belos always called me a 'half-a-witch' since I couldn't do magic of any kind."

Willow's heart dropped. She felt her stomach drop as well. Hearing that phrase again, it pained her.

"I.. I was called a 'half-a-witch' as well."

She said. Hunter was in shock.

"But you can do.. magic?"

Willow was trying find the words to explain. She stuttered many pronouns such as "they" or "I". She didn't have the right words, but she knew she couldn't keep him waiting.

"I.. I wasn't good at magic.. I could barely even do a easy spell.."

She whispered. Hunter could hear her, since that was the only noise in the room.

"For plant magic?"

He was confused. Very confused.

"No.. I was, for a while, wanted to be in the abomination track. My dad's wanted me to have a friendship with Amity again.. but it didn't work.. it was Luz who did that."

She mumbled. Hunter understood it now. Willow looked into Hunter's teary, dark brown eyes. She smiled.

"At least I know someone who delt with the title."

She said. She then tackled Hunter with a hug. Hunter was very surprised and began to hug her back. Willow's face was burning red, but she didn't care. Without her noticing, Hunter accidentally had her begin to sit on his lap so it was less uncomfortable.

~Luz POV~

Luz was walking to the room to grab a pencil and some paper. As she opened it, she saw her best friend and brother hugging. Luz took out her phone and began recording, as she somehow just noticed Willow was on Hunter's lap. She tried to not laugh, and succeeded. Hunter had noticed she walked in and began to tell her to go away. Luz raised her hand and walked out.

~Willow POV~

Willow had just noticed there position. She let go of Hunter and scurried off of his lap.

"I'm sorry!"

She apologized.

"It's alright! I didn't want you uncomfortable!"

Hunter said, with a slight smile. Willow gave him a small hug again.

"Well I'm going to go sleep."

Willow said as she yawned. Hunter nodded.

"Goodnight, Captain."

"Goodnight!"

Willow went over to her bed and laid down.

~Hunter POV~

Hunter began to lay down. He felt relieved that Willow was someone he could trust. It strengthened his feeling for her to know that had similar social pasts. He began to close his eyes. He replayed memories of them back in the Boiling Isles and in the human realm. He was happy. Even though Flapjack was gone, and he missed him. But he knew he had to move on. Even if that took years, he knew he needed too. He soon fell asleep. Letting Willow know he was okay.
