Today, Camila said it was the perfect weather for camping. Well, it was warmer than a usual winter day. They were on Christmas break, which is why Luz could go. Hunter and Gus were in the car talking more about Cosmic Frontier.
"Hunter, do you have a copy was of the comic?"
Willow suddenly asked. Hunter jumped at the question. His face glowed at the question. Gus was confused. He shrugged it off though.
"Yeah, I have the first comic, captain!"
Hunter said, taking out the comic book from his full bag. Willow snatched it away from him and happily began reading. He smiled at how enthusiastic she was about reading the comic, staring at the girl he had a crush on like an idiot. Luz and Gus noticed this and giggled. Hunter's face had multiple dark, deep shades of red on his face. At that moment, the car stopped.
"We are here!"
She said. Camila and Luz got out of the car at the same time and the same energy. Everyone left the car Hunter had noticed. So he jumped out. He ran to catch up with them. They walked on the path they were taking. Both Willow was taking interest of the plants. Hunter noticed this, as he looked at the small animals here and there. He heard chirping from afar.. it was very similar to his palisman that had passed away.
"Flapjack?!"
He ran towards the chirping. Luz was confused. Camila ran after him and so did Willow.
"Flapjack!"
He tripped on a branch and fell. He had scratched his knee from a rock he slid on. He squealed in pain and tried to get up.
"Hunter! Stop!"
Willow shouted. Hunter looked at her.
"But Flapjack.."
Hunter looked back in the direction he was going. He got up and ignored what Willow had said.
"Hijo!"
He heard his mother yell. But he ignored it. He kept running towards the chirping. He had tears in his eyes. He didn't like the fact that his palisman was gone. But he kept running even though he knew that Flapjack was gone. He still didn't want it to be true. He tripped again.
He soon heard growling. But it wasn't towards him. He looked over to see 3 furry, medium sized creatures trying to attack someone. He tried shrugging it off. But he looked again who it was.
Willow.
He stood up and his brown eyes glowed with hatred against the creatures. He ran towards Willow to get her away from the animals. Once he saw the animal, he wasn't very surprised. From his research on them, they weren't very friendly about there home. They were wolves. He was about to fan boy over them but he knew the task at hand. He was in pain from the wound on his knee. He then saw his mother running over. Sandel in hand, with fury in her eyes. Hunter smirked, Willow was genuinely confused.
"Le chancla."
Willow was concerned.
"PERROS, ALEJATE DE MI HIJO Y SU NOVIA!"
Camila shouted. She threw the slipper at the wolves to have them run away.
~Willow POV~
Willow was scared. She never had seen Camila so angry and protective in her life. Still trying to understand what Hunter had said. She saw Camila's slipper in the her hand and threw it at the beasts. Then she noticed Hunter's wound.
"Hunter.. your knee.."
"It's fine, captain."
He said with tears in his eyes. He picked Willow up and ran out of the area for safety. Both of them had forgotten why Hunter ran in that area in the first place. Willow looked up to see Hunter. She has never noticed this before, but Hunter's reddish brown eyes were pretty. His want for her safety made Willow's heart beat quickly. She always found how Hunter's lost tooth made him look quirky and cute. She kept falling for him if that was possible. Willow hid her feelings, because she thought "why would someone like a half-a-witch like me?" Well, she didn't yet know of Hunter's titlewas the same. But by the time her thoughts were over, they were already back in the main path. Luz was walking back in forth, worrying. Amity was trying to calm her down and Gus was trying to get his mind off of the situation. Luz saw both Hunter and Willow. Hunter had placed down Willow. Luz tackled Hunter with a hug.
"Ow! Luz!"
He shouted. Luz looked for where the pain was coming from. Luz quickly took out her first aid kit.
"Let me do it.."
Willow said. Luz nodded with a smirk and gave the kit too Willow.
"Hunter, sit."
Hunter did. Hunter sat down on the ground. Willow began applying a small amount of hydrogen peroxide on the wound to clean it. Hunter was trying not to move from the pain.
"Hunter, I know it-"
"It's fine, captain. It just stings."
He cut her off with a lie. Willow kept applying the bandage. Camila had followed them back and was worried as well, but allowed Willow to her thing.

~Hunter POV~
They all have walked to there destination. Camila was with Luz, Gus and Amity. Hunter was somewhere in the forest, looking at the stars and the view of the lake. Willow walked over.
"Hey Hunter.."
Willow greeted quietly. She began to sit never to Hunter, doing the same as he was.

Willow laid her head on his shoulder. She shivered a bit from the wind coming at them.
"Here.."
Hunter said. He gave his jacket to her since he wasn't cold.
"I shouldnt-"
"Take it. You need it more than I do."
He said. Willow took it and placed it on. They looked at the stars and the other came along. Luz sat next to Hunter. Amity sat next to Luz and Gus sat next to Willow.
"Mama went to bed."
Luz insisted. Hunter nodded. Hunter looked over at Luz and Amity, they were holding each other's hand. Then he looked at Willow.
'Thank you..'
