Chapter 11

Part 11

Dakota's POV

When I finally come back to the room Jamie is sitting on the couch waiting for me. He notices that I'm in the room and smiles in the way only he in whole world can smile. Immediately what my mom said come back to my mind:I know what I saw.

I shake my head. I'll think about that later, it's serious and I have to be focus which is impossible when I'm around him.

-I liked your mom-he says as I come closer and sit on his lap with my arms around his neck.

-She liked you too. Do you act like that on all women ?

He giggles.

-Like what ?

I'm silent. Like what ? You want to know how I feel right now,  Mr.Dornan ? To be honest, I'm not sure how I feel. Happy, surrounded by care, tenderness, delicacy. I feel loved.

I rise my hand to his cheek and my heart melts when I see how he buries his head in my head kissing inside of it.

-So, what do we do now ?-he asks after a minute.

Unwillingly I get up from his lap and walk to my fridge. I sigh when see it's nothing special in it.

-Well, if my mom comes for dinner I'll have to prepare something, but I don't have anything in the fridge, so I guess that I have go to the greengrocer's.

-I'll go with you-he says and gets up-You know, since you can't move anywhere without me.

I see crafty smile on his face. He's laughing at me. That bastard ! Quickly I pick up the nearest thing and throw it at him. Laughing he run to the next room. He was lucky that it was a pillow.

-I hate that-I hear his voice when we walk down the street.

-Hate what ?

-This. We're together and I even can't take you by the hand, because those damn paps can be every where.

I understand him completely. That's worse part of fame. Suddenly I get an idea, maybe it's a little crazy but it'll be fun. Jamie is having his hands in the pockets of jacket so I can slip mine under his arm taking him by surprise.

-What are you doing ?-he tries to be steady but it's hard because I see that he's fighting with his smile.

-We can do that. Close friends go for walks, right ?-I move closer to him feeling pleasant warmth of his body.

-I can agree to that. For now.

All the way to the shop we're laughing, sometimes I don't even know why. And that's the best part of it. When I'm around him I can be myself because I know that he'll understand. I've never had so good contact with anyone including my ex-boyfriends.

We are inside the shop and just walking between shelves. I don't know what I should buy, so I look at all the things for no reason.

-Are you looking for something special ?-Jamie asks.

He's walking behind me with a basket. I have to say it's quite nice view. Even now when we're doing one of the most natural activity he still can be sexy. No fair.

-No. To be honest I'm not sure what to buy. I have never could guess what she wants.

-If you want I can do that.

I turn around instantly.

-What ?

-I can do that for you, it'll be my pleasure-he says.
