Chapter 21

Part 21

Jamie's POV

-Hi, dad-I say taking my dad into a big hug. It seems years since I last time saw him.

-I missed you son-he says.

I pull out to look at him. He's not so young anymore but for me he didn't change at all.

-So dad, I would like you to meet someone.

Now I know how Dakota felt before. I myself didn't realize that I'm nervous too until now. My dad seems a little surprise when he sees her. So Liesa didn't tell him anything.

-Dakota this my dad Jim, dad this is Dakota.

-It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr.Dornan-she says. She's finally calm or she's such a good actor. Even better than I thought. Because she looks really natural.

-The pleasure is all mine young lady. And please call me Jim. Don't make me older than I'm.

We all laugh. I breath sight of a relief. It looks like my dad liked her.

-Come in. Your sisters are waiting for you-he says, open the door and let her go ahead.

She sends him a 'thank-you' smile and walks inside. I catch up with her before she enters the living room and take her by hand. She squeezes my hand and smile. I can't say how happy I'm to see her in my home. I missed this place so much.

-Did they come ?-I hear my sister's voice. And after a second Jessica walks out the kitchen-Hey brother-she runs toward me and hugs me.

-I missed you too, sis.

She pulls out kissing my cheek and immediately turns to Dakota.

-You must be Dakota, right ?

She nods and reaches out her hand but to her surprise and mine Jessica takes her in arms.

-Welcome. I couldn't wait to meet you.

-Thank you-Dakota giggles-So I guess you were expecting me ?

-Since Jamie told me. And now you're finally here-she smiles.

-Did I hear my dear brother ?-I follow my eyes to the sound from the kitchen.

-Liesa-I say opening my arms, inviting her for a hug. She quickly takes the opportunity-Sis, this is Dakota.

She turns to her having even bigger smile than before.

-Oh my God, you exist-she says and after a second takes her in bear hug.

I frown. What does she mean ?

-Don't get me wrong-I think that she finally figure our odd gaze-Just after what Jamie told me about you I thought that you must be some kind of angel.

I send her 'shut-up' look.

-Really ?-Dakota asks turning to me.

I smile and walk to her.

-Because she's angel. My angel-I say kissing the top of her head.

-Jess, do you see it ? Our Jamie is in love.

The two of them starts to giggle.

-Okay girls leave them alone-I'm really grateful that our dad came-You should be happy.

-We are-they say together.

-Jamie why don't you show Dakota our house ?-I think that he wants to give us some privacy. I love my sisters and I know that they liked Dakota too, but sometimes they don't know how unbearable they can be-Jessica, Liesa lets go back to the cooking.
