Dakota's POV

-So, guys, for our meeting-David says rising up his glass.

-For the meeting-says Jamie.

Me and Eloise rise our glasses as well.

I have to say that I have really great evening. Jamie is lucky to have a friend like David.

I was so curious. And now I know he's a great guy. Funny, and outgoing. I can see that he has a lot of friends. He can win everyone's trust.

And also I could find out a bit more about Jamie when he was younger. How they started playing together, how they met.

I was glad to hear that David was a big support to Jamie in his hardest times. Sometimes a good friend is all we need.

I felt bad when David said that Jamie didn't have lucky with girls when he was in school. It was always him who won all those girls.

Jamie told me about that. He just didn't know how to talk to girls. It's rather hard to believe and if someone else told me that I wouldn't believe.

-So, I really couldn't wait to meet you-he says looking at me-I saw you in some other movies and I was so curious what my dear friend did to won a woman like you.

I bite my lip and smile when I see the look Jamie is sending to David. Thankfully I can also see the smile that is dancing on his face. I guess that this is their game.

-He didn't have to do anything-I say turning my head to Jamie-I knew he's the one in the moment I saw him.

I let my hand slid down his cheek. He smiles and kisses my palm.

-Well, that's our Jamie. The one and only-David says patting him on the back.

They're like brothers. They have a lot in common and I see how they missed talking with each other.

-I'll clean the table-I say getting up.

-It was delicious, Dakota-David says.

I only smile in response. It's really nice of him, and it's always good to hear some complement.

-I'll help you-says Eloise getting up.

She hasn't been saying much tonight. Well, unless not to me. But some of us had more luck.

-So...-I start putting the dishes to the sink-You like him, huh ?

My words make her drop the spoon on the floor. Thankfuly it's made of metal.

-Baby, is everything okay ?-I hear Jamie's voice from the other room.

-Yes, it was nothing.

He must have heard that noise.

-I don't know what you're talking about-she says trying to sound innocent when she bends down to take the spoon.

Come on ! I know her for a while and I'm sure that she like David. I saw the look she gave him when they met.

And for the whole evening she has been staring at him. As he at her.

-Eloise Mumford, don't try to make a fool of me.

I barely can stop my laugh when she starts to play with her hair. She always does that when she's shy.

-Well, he's really cute, and funny...-she stops and looks at me-He seems like a nice guy.

Wow. Did I just hear in her voice what I think I heard ? And this smile, that glimse in her eyes.

-You know, if you want to go out with him, get some privacy then you can-I say when I lean against the fridge.
