Sophie woke up, stretching out in bed. Her and Tony had pretty much worked until the early hours of the morning. She knew he was off to see the director of SHIELD today, and she wanted to see him before he left.
She got up, and got herself ready for the day. Sophie wasn't a conventional person, she would rather be in shorts and t-shirt, all day everyday. The only time anyone would see her wear anything different was work or special occasions. Thankfully, Tony didn't care what she wore for work, as long as she was happy and comfortable.
Slipping on a pair of black denim shorts, and a white t-shirt, Sophie pulled her hair up into a messy bun, and slipped on her glasses. She would wear contacts, but the hassle of having patience to put them in, she didn't have.
The elevator doors open, letting her out onto Tonys lab floor. She practically skips out, seeing him at his desk... 'How's the suit coming?'... She perches herself on the edge of his desk, looking down at him in his chair.
'It's good. Won't be much longer. Got these..'.. He holds up wristbands... 'I put them on, and the suit can track me. The suit will open and cover me, even if I'm running, falling'
'Impressive. Have you thought about using bio trackers? Having them linked to your suits, so you can use any one of them'... She gestures to the 3 suits on their stands, at the far wall.
'Thats... actually not a bad idea..'.. He spaces out for a moment, before looking at her smiling...'I could use your help on it'
Sophie grinned at him... 'Fine by me. Besides, we both know I'm the smartest one here'
Tony scoffs mockingly... 'You really know how to knock a man's ego down, don't you'
She laughed, shaking her head as she stood... 'Someone had to keep you in check Tony. Come on, breakfast before you go'
The two get up and head to the main floor, to have breakfast. Tony wouldn't say it, but he was worried about leaving her alone at the tower, what if someone came for her? He knew she could handle herself, of that he had no doubt.
Tony gave her a hug and kissed the top of her head, making her promise to always be in contact, before flying off to who knows where for that meeting.

Sophie had spent the next 24 hours, wandering around the tower, and working in her lab. She was still trying to figure out a cure, from her parents notes, on the experiments they had done on her. So far, she was unsuccessful.
Sighing in frustration, she got up, and went to the elevator. She'd go back to her room and read for a little bit, that always helped to calm her down.
Looking at the doors of the elevator, the voice in her head spoke up again...
*We are not alone. There's others here. Let me out, I'll get rid of them*
Sophie grit her teeth and shook her head. She moved silently, over to her main desk, pulling open the bottom drawer. She had a small safe in there, that held a gun, ammo and a strap of blades. She always did prefer a knife over a gun.
Opening the safe, she pulled it all out, putting the gun and ammo holster on her right thigh, and her blade strap around her left. Keeping an eye on the elevator doors, she pulled her out of its ponytail and quickly braided it. She wished she had contacts in now, as she pushed her glasses up her nose.
Once she was set, she tapped her comm, speaking quietly... 'Jarvis, let him know the tower has been compromised. I'm on my way to check it out'
