The two of them had ran back, hitting every puddle on their way. Sophie didn't care about people staring at her. In fact, she grinned and waved at them as she passed by. When she saw some scowl at her, she stuck her tongue out, giggling.

Bruce was in complete awe of her, and the way she didn't let anything get her down. Even on a dark rainy day, she brought light and laughter wherever she went.

The made it back, running through the doors of the lobby. She still had hold of his hand, pulling him along. As she turned her head to look back at him, her wet shoes slipped on the granite floor, causing her to lose her footing and fall, pulling him down with her.

The two of them landed in a tangled mess, with Bruce on top of her. He quickly pushed himself up, as so not to crush her, but she had burst out laughing. Her eyes sparkled, and her nose was scrunched up. This wasn't a dainty laugh, no she was full belly laughing, and loud.

He rolled onto his back, laughing with her. A security guard had quickly come over, his eyes wide, worrying they were injured... 'Dr Connors, Dr Banner, are you alright?'

That seemed to set her off even more. She put both hands to her mouth, trying to stiffle her laughter, but it wasn't working. The security guard could see they were ok, and was fighting a laugh himself. Bruce looked around, seeing there were a few people about, all trying not to laugh too.

For once, he didn't care about the stares, the whispers. Sitting himself up, he looked to the guard... 'We're fine, thank you. Though I think this one had too much wine'... He gestured to Sophie.

She gasped dramatically, sitting up... 'I did not! In fact, I didn't have enough'... She folded her arms, her face taking on a pout, as she sat cross legged on the floor. Her clothes were throughly soaked, as puddle was forming under her.

Bruce was fighting back another laugh, seeing how she was acting... 'Yeah, you and Tony are so much alike'

'Again with the insults!..'.. She sniggered, standing up... 'Me and Tony are nothing alike!..'.. She wags a finger at Bruce... 'I'm better looking, and can handle my drink. Plus, I'm smarter'

Bruce saw movement behind her. He sighed, dropping his head to hide a smirk.

'Tony could never measure up to me. While he was sticking his dick into every vagina he could, I was sticking my nose into books'... She whipped round, catching Tony's arm, and throwing him over her shoulder, and to the floor.

She got on his stomach, sitting on him, wearing a proud smile... 'Hey Tony. What's up?'

Tony groaned, rolling his eyes... 'Get off me Gopher'... She did, gripping his hand and yanking him up with her. He ran a hand across the back of his head, feeling for any damage.

'I love that you try Tony, but you'll never get the better of me'... She patted him on the shoulder... 'Was heading back to the lab. Everything ok?'... She linked an arm with both men, pulling them towards the elevator.

Tony waited until they were inside, and he leaned back, folding his arms, as he looked over at her... 'Yeah, everything is fine. Its just, there's a gala tonight and I know you don't like big crowds, but I need you there'

Sophie closed her eyes, taking a breath. She hated crowds. She'd rather be put in a room to disarm a bomb thsn deal with a lot of people. She opened her eyes, shaking her head at Tony... 'You're asking for too much there Tony, and you know it'
