Things had settled well at the tower. Sophie had put together a team to work in her labs. She made it clear to them all, that no work was to be taken home with them, as it was part of their NDA. She ensured that everyone was paid well, and had acquired an apartment complex within walking distance of the tower. She wanted her staff to have a good home and a fair salary.

Her team all loved her and found that she was a good boss. They all worked well, and not once had anyone complained. Sophie was fair in understanding about illnesses, family emergencies and childcare.

She allowed her staff to work adaptable hours, and it proved to work well as morale and the teams mood was high. She also made a point that no one was to work Sundays. That was everyone's day off.

Sitting in her office, she went over the paperwork she had received from Jeremy in physics department, requesting a lab assistant. She had told him she would find someone that would work well, but in the meantime, she would assist him when he needed her.

'You had a break yet?'... Sophie looked up and smiled at Bruce, seeing him stood in her doorway.

She put her pen down, linking her fingers together on the desk... 'Not yet. I'm trying to fill a position in the physics department. But at the moment, there's no one jumping out at me in the applications'

Bruce walked in and sat down at one of the chairs, in front of her desk... 'You always find the right people. My team work great, and that's because of you. I didn't think I'd ever be comfortable working with others'

Sophie smiled at him as she say back in her chair... 'I wouldn't want you to feel uncomfortable Bruce. I put you in charge of that department for a reason, because I trust you. And anyone who works with you, they have to be understanding too'

Bruce watched as she stood up and stretched. Her t-shirt rode up a little on her waist, showing a strip of smooth skin. His eyes darted down, and his mouth got dry. He shook his head quickly, seeing her move.

Sophie walked around her desk, wearing shorts and a t-shirt. As always, her feet were bare. She bounced on the balls of her feet, and smiled down at him... 'Come on, it's lunch time, and I'm hungry'

Bruce stood up and followed her. She slipped her feet into a pair of trainers by her door, and the two headed to the elevator. She always made sure to greet her staff as she passed them. Bruce looked over at her, seeing her eyes sparkle behind her glasses as she spoke with others as they passed.

Once they were inside the elevator, she folded her as and leaned against the side... 'How's your research going? Any headway?'

Bruce put his hands in his pockets and shrugged... 'Not really. I was hoping to find something by now, but  just getting the same results'

Sophie tilted her head at him... 'Have you ever thought about living side by side with him?'

Bruce had seen how Sophie was handling it, living with her other self. He had wondered if he could have that too... 'Its crossed my mind. But he's unpredictable, and he's more of a smash now, and leave me to deal with the consequences later'

She chuckled, shaking her head... 'Yeah, that's me and Tia. I'm going away next week, back down to Mexico. You're more than welcome to join me. I think it would do you both some good. If he sees that you are giving him a little bit of freedom, to get it all out, especially when there's no one around to threaten him, I think it would surprise you'
