A Cold Hearted Alpha mate

Chapter 3: Dungeon Cell

We walked in silence for who knows how long. My mate got tired of carrying me so instead he made me walk he didn't seem to care enough to look out for me to make sure I wouldn't fall or bump into something.

By the time we got there I had at least a scraped knee and a small yet still painful bump on the side of my head. But of course my mate instead of helping me up you know what he did? Nothing absolutely nothing. He didn't even wait on me to catch up. Hence that where the bump came from in my attempt to catch up. Was I sad he was treating me like this? Yes it hurt me it hurt charm, but I wasn't going to let him have the pleasure of seen it.

" Josh take her to the pack dungeon, I have other important stuff to do." Said my mate with the same emotionless voice.

"Wha-wait dungeon? What for?" Did I do something wrong?

" NEVER QUESTION ME." My mate growled viciously

I let out a small whimper as I nodded and looked down just then I felt a tight grip on my arm deciding not to anger him any more i let Josh drag me to where ever the dungeon was.

The closer we got the stronger the stench of blood hit my already sensitive nose. I could hear screams, screams begging for mercy following sounds of whips making contact with flesh. I shivered in response wrapping my hands around myself. Times like these made me happy I was born blind and couldn't see this.

Once we reached my cell he unlocked the door and pushed me in causing me to bang my head on the wall making me black out.

I woke up with the worst headache in history. I rubbed my head only to wince as a sudden shot of pain hit me. " uhh what happened?"

" you feel and passed out." Came a new voice beside me.

Out of instinct I let out a loud scream only to have a bloody smelling hand cover my mouth

" I'll take my hand off if you promise not to scream deal?" I nodded just take that nasty hand of my mouth! I scream/ thought

" Did I scare you?"

I nodded " yea I'm sorry I must of scared you with my scream." I replied while rubbing my mouth with my shirt sleeve." That's when I noticed my hands where a little heavier then usual. With my other hand I reached out to feel cold cuffs on both my hands and feet.

" Let me guess your blind right? I can tell by looking at you" Again I nodded looking in the direction of the voice.

" By the way my name is Casey in case you don't know I'm a rouge."

" I'm Faith and arnt rouges suppose to be evil?" Well.. at least that's what my father has always said about them and so did my brother.

Casey chuckled lightly " depends the cause of the rouge to go well rouge."

" oh" was all I said as I looked down playing with my fingers occasionally letting a tear or two fall.

" Shh its okay don't cry " came Casey's soothing voice as he rubbed circles on my back.

I wasn't crying for myself I was crying for my brother my father. I wasn't going to ever hear their voices again. I wasn't ever going to be able to hug them. Then I remember my mother which caused more tears to flow down my cheeks. My mother my sweet loving mother.

A pair of arms pulled me into a semi muscular chest. At this point I didn't care that I was hugging a rouge who aside from smelling of blood also had no shirt on.

Casey gently stroke my hair repeatly telling me everything would be okay. Slowly I felt my eyes dropping and soon enough I was fast asleep.

A loud growl cause me to wake up and shove Casey away. I knew that second I was screwed

" Josh, WHY is MY mate in a cell with another MALE?" Hissed my mate well shit

" I'm sorry alpha there where no other unocupid cells." I could hear the fear in his voice

" Jay!" Yelled my mate. A few sec I heard foot steps quickly coming our way

" Yes alpha? " replied Jay a little out of breath

" Take Josh to the torture room and take care of him."

" Alp-"

" SILENCE!" My mate growled " Now Jay and tell Scar he's the new beta now get out of my face "

I sat there frozen I couldn't move I couldn't talk I could feel the blood draining from my face. How could he? How could he casually throw his beta aside and replace him so easily?

My mate roughly pulled my arm causing me to nearly fall. I heard a few clicks as he unlocked the cuffs.

" Come" he said as he started walking out.

I bit my lip and silently followed behind trying not to bump into him which is hard if your blind. Once we were out of the dungeon, my mate took me to what I assumed was his room because his scent was all over the place.

" Shower and get out of those filthy bloody clothes." With that he slammed the door shut and locked it so I wouldn't try to get out.

My thoughts drifted to Casey. Is he going to kill him? Did he leave to deal with him? Fresh tears started to run down the first friend I made was going to die because of me.

" Fuck it why am I so useless!" I screamed as I made a fist wanting to punch myself.

Calm down jeez

Charm is that you?

No duh its Santa ho ho ho

I couldn't help but smiled thanks Charm

Why are you thanking me?

For trying to cheer me up

Charm snorted shut up I didn't do it for you

Maybe I had Charm all wrong maybe she really wasn't as bad as I thought she was.
