Chapter 9: New friendship

Back to Faiths POV

I groan as I rolled around trying to get comfortable then I noticed something weird my bed was cold. Why does my bed feel so cold and hard? That's when my eyes popped open and all the events that have happened came rushing back.

Casey, the kidnapping, and my mate ignoring me. My eyes started filling with new tears at the thought of my mate cutting me off.

" About time you woke up I was getting bored." Said a bored voice that I recognized as Casey's voice

" wh- why?" I studdered

" Why? Why you ask?" At this point Casey was laughing his humorless laugh sent shivers down my spine.

" I'll tell you why, revenge my dear Faith." He replied with almost the same cold voice as my mate. After a few minutes of silence I felt his grip on my hair as he forced me up only to throw me against a cold hard floor.

I didn't need to be a genius to know that we where in some sort of dungeon or basement.

" it was five years ago I wasn't always a rouge, I was a member of a pack the Blade Pack. The blade pack wasn't a big pack we were a small pack. My pack had a total of 100 members only. My father was the alpha my best friend was the beta and I the gamma. One day while we were celebrating my youngest sisters 2 birthday we became under attack. The pack was no other then the Blood pack. My father tried to reason with alpha Steel, he even begged for our pack to be spared. He didn't listen he shifted into his wold and jumped my father, ripping his head clean off. My mother took my sister and ran the opposite way. One of his pack members blocked the way and right before my eyes he ripped my moms throat out. My sister fell to the floor she cried and cried and instead of sparing her he killed her. He killed my sister! She was 2 for fucks sake! One by one I saw as he and his members killed the rest of my pack. Children and all. Instead of killing me he took me prisoner and tortured me every day. That is till you came and provided me the perfect plan and perfect time to escape."

I stood quietly as Casey continued his story I could hear the pain and sadness in his voice. I felt this huge need to go up to him and give him a much needed hug and tell him he will be okay.

" Casey? I have just finished receiving a call from alpha Steel." Came a voice I didn't recognized

" And?"

" He said we can kill his mate that he doesn't care for her."

My eyes grew wide and before I knew it I felt flat on my ass . I hugged myself as I started to shake uncontrollably. He doesn't want me.. he really doesn't want us.. I shut my eyes close as tears forced themselves down. He doesn't want me.. us Charm..

Charm is it true? Does he really not want us?

Charm please answer please..

Its true Faith its true.. he doesn't want us

Are you sure, maybe its a lie to throw them off? I said with hope in my voice

No.. his wolf doesn't want me either at those last words Charm howled with so much pain

I clutch my chest as the pain of the rejection hit me hard. No no no no!! I mentally screamed
No... why would he mark me if he didn't want me? Is it because I'm blind that he left me?

So many endless questions swirled in my head I'm probably going to have a serious migraine by the time all this is over. Then it hit me like a bag full of falling bricks, my pack, my father, friends, and brother are in danger.

Without me there is nothing keeping him from attacking my pack and forcefully taking our territory.

" No.. no please not my family.. he's going to kill them.." at this point I was shaking so badly that I might have a panic attack or a heart attack.

" He's coming after your pack ?" Casey's voice suddenly turned serious

I just nodded in return.

" Go warn your pack, you are free."

" Wait wh- yo- you ?"

Feeling a hand in my arm pulling me up with gentleness I stopped shaking slightly but fear took its place.

" I'm not going to hurt you."

I bit my lip " bu- bu- but wh- why not?" I studdered

I heard him sigh " because the whole purpose of taking you was to get my revenge on alpha Steel, but if he doesn't care enough to come save you then its a waste of time. After what would be the point? Its not like he's going to come save you or be emotionally broken from your death."

I didn't know what came over me for all knew he could of been lying to me and still be planing to kill me but I couldn't help it. I blindly threw myself at him, wrapping my arms on his waist and placing my head on his shoulders.

Casey suddenly tensed up the second I wrapped my arms around him. I could hear his heart beat picking up from the sudden scare and shock I gave him.

" I knew you weren't bad Casey, I just knew it!" I whispered screamed as I gripped his waist tighter as if I was holding on for dear life.

" uhh" Casey tried to pride me off him but I wouldn't budge I was so happy hes allowing me to leave and go home that I didn't want to stop hugging him.

" That's enough Faith you need to get to your pack I'd hate to see you suffer the same fate as me. I don't want you hurt." I was deeply touched by his words

" you care about me?"

Pause " don't read to much into it you just remind me of me in a way plus I know the feeling."
I couldn't help the smile forming. He really is a good guy I thought

" Does this mean we are friends?" I mentally crossed my fingers please say yes please say yes

Casey didn't reply for what felt like hours " you want to be friends with a rouge that was planing to kill you?" Casey asked with disbelief

I nodded without any hesitation " yes and I don't care I understand why you wanted to. I might of done that myself." It was true and I dont blame him. The lose of people close to you can really change a person.

Chuckling Casey wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly " You are a strange one, but I accept." I could tell he was smiling.

" Maybe father will let you join our pack and maybe your mate might be there."

" ahhhem" I jumped back when I heard the voice of that new guy from earlier. I covered my face from embarrassment I completely forgot about the other guy.

" Vince you can go now." Laughed Casey " he's a friend of mine."

I just nodded

" Alright let's go."

"Go where?"

" To your pack I'm not letting a blind she wolf find her way through home with so many male rouges wondering about." I blushed I'm so clueless.

" Okay let's go, father, brother, Derek, and Zeke I'm coming home ."
