3 souls, 2 hearts, 1 love - ATEEZ Seonghwa, Mingi x OC FF

Seonghwa, calm down. She's with Mingi, I'm sure she's fine. Yeosang and Jongho tried to calm Seonghwa. But it's been more than an hour and she isn't at the churro stand, she is nowhere to be found... I don't know what to do. We're gonna look for her, don't worry. San stroked Seonghwa's back. Everyone was worried. It was already past 1 p.m. and Mingi and Ria hadn't come back. Seonghwa was specially worried, as his heart was missing her beat, he couldn't reach her, he couldn't feel her energy as he used to.

Well, I guess we can stay here for a bit, help is on the way. Ria called the security number and they were coming to fix the elevator. Mingi sat down at the bench and looked at the butterflies around him. Ria was watching him from behind, admiring the beauty of the scene in front of her. The sun was shining through the windows, plants were everywhere, Mingi sat on the bench, surrounded by beautiful butterflies, flying around. Wow. Mingi turned and smiled. Ria felt her heart beat. It was beating in synch with Mingi's.

As she sat down, Mingi turned to her and, holding his phone, shyly said. Uhm, Ria? Yeah? Could you give me your phone number? I was hoping to keep in touch with you. Sure, I'd love that. Ria held his phone and put down her number. You know Mingi, I've actually had a really good time with you and I'd also like to thank you. For what? There's something in you that calms me down and makes me feel safe, thank you. 

They both looked into each other's eyes and felt like the world had stopped around them. It was just them two. Everything meant nothing. All that mattered in that moment was looking at each other's eyes. Mingi decided to make a move and tell her how he feels.

Ria I- The door of the elevator suddenly opened. Here you are! Hopefully it's all fixed, you can go down now. Ria was flustered so she quickly got up and thanked the technicians. Mingi was a bit disappointed. He was finally gonna confess his feelings and maybe, just maybe, Ria would feel the same way. I guess he just has to wait.

They both went to the center of the fair, trying to find the rest of the guys. Immediately they saw San. Hey, San! MINGI OH MY GOD. Ria are you ok? Did you get hurt? Lost? What happened? San held Mingi's right arm and Ria's left arm with such a worried expression.

Actually the churros' line was big, then we grabbed a bite to eat and found a secret butterfly attraction and got stuck because the elevator stopped working. Mingi explained all at once. Damn that must've sucked. We were together so it wasn't that bad, Ria added. Where is Seonghwa? Ria quickly questioned. He's looking for you guys, I'll call him.

In that moment Ria realised. I have Seonghwa's number. Why didn't I call him all this time?

Quickly after, Seonghwa and the rest of the guys came back and felt so relieved to see Mingi and Ria. Oh baby I got so scared. Seonghwa held Ria really tight. She caressed his hair. Don't worry, I wasn't alone,  I had MIngi with me all this time. Mingi just stood behind Ria, with his feelings all a mess. He was happy for the time they had spent together, sad for the distress they caused on the others and  angry for Seonghwa and Ria's emotional hug. 

The rest of the day went by really fast. The group spent a few hours at the park and had lots of fun. But, as the sun started setting, Seonghwa and Ria started feeling the heavy dawn upon them. They all went back to the hotel, where Ria had some of her belongings. 

Seonghwa, I don't want to go. Ria, you have to. I don't want it either but we'll see each other next weekend. That's true. I think I can go one week without you. Good for you, because I don't know how I will handle a whole week without kissing you. 

Ria rolled her eyes as she folded her clothes into her bag. Seonghwa smirked and walked towards her. Hugging her from behind, he rested his chin on her shoulder. I'm really really happy I found you baby. Ria turned around and put her arms around his neck. And I'm glad you found me. I wouldn't have talked to you had Wooyoung not been there. I guess we should thank Wooyoung. I think we should. The couple was so close to each other, their noses were slightly touching. Looking into each other's eyes, they smiled like it was their last moment together. Like a dramatic farewell. 

Starting to close their eyes and inch towards each other- Hongjoonng suddenly enters the room. Oh god why do I keep doing this. He covered his eyes instantly. Dude, we're a couple, get over it. Yeah Seonghwa but I don't know, I never wanted to see you doing couple stuff and it just keep happening... anyways! We gotta take Ria now or else she'll be late.

Not everyone was there, since it would look a little weird. Eight guys saying goodbye to one girl. Too much attention. But Wooyoung, Hongjoong, Mingi and, of course, Seonghwa decided to be there with Ria. 

Wooyoung I must say, you are an angel. Hongjoong almost spit his coffee. Wooyoung gave him a side eye. It's true, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be here, and I'll be forever grateful. Wooyoung hugged her. Ah, no need to say thank you, I did what I had to do. Hongjoong turned to Ria. I must say, you bring out the best in Seonghwa. I'm glad we found you, have a nice trip back home. Ria nodded. 

Mingi. He was awfully quiet. Aren't you gonna say goodbye dummy? Wooyoung tapped Mingi's chest with the back of his hand. He was looking down, deep in his own world but suddenly looked up into Ria's eyes.

She felt it. She felt her heart speed up and time stopping. It was like the butterflies all over again. It felt so wrong yet so good.

It was nice meeting you Ria. Likewise Mingi. They both nodded and pretended like nothing happened. Only they knew what they felt.

Seonghwa had his downward smile. The signature Seonghwa sign that he is about to cry. Oh baby don't. Please. Ria hugged him. Tears fell down silently. He swallowed it as much as possible. I just got you, I don't want to lose you. You're not losing me, I'm just going home, I'll be back really quickly ok? Ok... Ria wiped Seonghwa's tears and caressed his cheek. They looked at each other one last time before having their final kiss.

Ria stepped back and walked towards the door, she looked back. But she didn't look at Seonghwa. Her eyes focused on Mingi for a millisecond before looking front again. It was quick, but Mingi knew. Mingi knew that Ria was not gonna give up on him, there was hope.
