Ronal's POV:
"Tonowari, we can't worry about this right now. We have Ao'nung to worry abou-" I was cut off by the villagers making noise as someone ran up to me. He led a group of people to me with the villager in the middle carrying something in a blanket.
"Olo'eyktan! Tsahik, we need help!" The fisherman leading them yelled.
"What is the meaning of this? Why have you come to me yelling?"
"We found something!" They unwrap the blank to show a baby girl. She had a tattoo on the back of her neck. It was a name, Ayn'at.
"Give her here. I will take her."
"What will we do with her, Ronal?" My mate asks me.
"We must keep her. She is a baby, she can't stay in the world alone. She will die!" I hiss at him. "We will raise her as our own, alongside Ao'nung."
7 years later
"Mom, tell me the story again." Ayn'at tells me as I tuck her into bed.
"Okay. But then it is time for bed missy." She giggled and I lay next to her on the bed. I tell her the story of how we found her a brought her into the family.
She knows she is not related to us but we raised her. She is our daughter. We now have another daughter, Tsireya.
Ao'nung, Ayn'at, and Tsireya have grown up together. Ayn'at has dark blue skin, yellow eyes, and thin limbs and tail. But her brother and sister don't treat her any different. She has grown up with them and has learned the Metkayina ways just as they have.
9 years later (now)
Ayn'at's POV:
Ao'nung and I were swimming by the reef, feeding our ilu's. Ao'nung and I are the closest in my family because we are the same age. He is my best friend.
We see a shadow fly over us. We look up to see a group of mountain banshee fly over us, carrying a family of forest na'vi. We look to each other and swim to the surface of the water.
"What is that?" Ao'nung asks as he stares in the direction the family went.
"I don't know. Let's go find out."
Ao'nung swims off to go see the family while I swim to find Tsireya. She is studying the fish around the coral. I swim down to her and tap her shoulder to get her attention.
"There is a new family here. We should go check it out" I sign to her. We swim up to the surface and call our ilu's. We take off to the village to find the rest of our family.
AN: Hello everyone! This is my first story. I don't really know what to write lol.... Also, Ayn'at is the OC's name. She doesn't know her last name because she doesn't know who her real family is. Her name is tattooed on the back of her neck, that is how to knew what to call her.
