(Y/N) stood still for a good five minutes, seemingly frozen in time. Her brain was processing situation, slowly.

"Hanni, I need to call Hanni." mumbled (Y/N), sprinting to the cordless phone, she punched Hanni's number in (she read the piece of paper on the fridge), and ran back to her room, slamming the door behind her.

"Hello?" came Hanni's voice through the phone

"Pham Hanni, I am freaking out right now!"

"Huh?! (Y/N) are you okay?" asked Hanni, generally concerned for her best friend

(Y/N) then recounted all the events of the day, explaining the details that lead to the two of them almost kissing.

"Hang on, I'll be ten minutes." said Hanni, who then promptly hung up

True to her word, Hanni appeared at the door not ten minutes later. Once let in, the two teenagers went back into (Y/N)'s room to discuss the rather confusing relationship of Son (Y/N) and Kim Minji.

"She said we could talk about it tomorrow, but I'm slightly scared for some reason." explained (Y/N), who's heart rate kept on jumping a mile a minute when Minji crossed her mind.

Hanni lounged on the desk chair, her face drawn tightly in thought. It was the most serious (Y/N) had seen her for a while, but she appreciated that her best friend was there to give her judgement.

"Just be prepared for anything, a confession, a not - dating - but - we - are - dating scenario, or maybe just flat out rejection. I mean, do we even know if Minji likes girls and is she just leading you on?" said Hanni

"Would a girl who only likes boys hold my hand multiple times, touch my cheek, lay her head on my shoulder while we listen to music, and then try and kiss me?"

"Okay, let's assume Minji likes girls and had somewhat romantic feelings for you, what would you do?"

(Y/N) did not answer, lost in though at Hanni's question.

'She's right. I don't know what I would do.' though (Y/N) darkly

Due to the silence from her best friend, Hanni sighed and walked over to the girl on the bed. Sitting beside her, she stared straight at the door while saying the best piece of advice (Y/N) had heard from her.

"Just be yourself (Y/N)."
