Jennifer's POV
Over the next week I start to say goodbye to life as I know it, first by saying goodbye to my university and all the friends that I have gathered over the years and making sure that I have all their phone numbers and will definitely stay in touch.
Next I pay a visit to all close family members to tell them the news and say my final goodbyes before the big move to Los Angeles
It's Friday night and Im making sure that all my packing is done. I start by checking all my favourite items of clothes are safely packed away in my bags and will not get lost along the way.
After that I check that all my electronic items are safe such as my CD player, television and laptop. Once they are all safe and packed away I climb into bed and drift off into a peaceful sleep and dream about the great adventure that lies ahead.
Its 5am on the morning of the big move, my alarm clock goes off and I drag myself out of bed to turn it off. I can hear my parents running around trying to gather everything they need for life in LA
My father bangs on your door "Wake up and get ready we don't have long till the flight" he says to me. "Ok Im up Im up" I say back to him.
I raid through the suitcases of clothes that lay before me to find something suitable for an 3 hour plane journey and end up in a pair of blue joggins, an American flag top and a red hoodie with red converse shoes.
"Perfect for a flight, comfortable and soft" I think to myself.
I wander into my bathroom for the last time ever and start to brush my teeth and wash my face which is my normal daily routine.
I take one look at my hair and think no one will care what it looks like so I shove it up in a bun on the top of my head.
I pick up my iPod and phone and place them in a bag which I then throw over my shoulder.
"I'm ready" I think to myself before taking one last look around my room.
My dad loads the car up with all the things that I will be taking with me to my new life in LA before locking up the house one last time and getting into the car with my mother. "Belt up" He tells us.
"Yes Dad" I reply after putting on my seatbelt and placing my iPod headphones into my ears to block out the world for just a little while. After an half an hour's drive we arrive at the airport and take our suitcases inside.
"We need to check the bags in" my mother says, so we join the huge queue and finally reach the front after 20 minutes of queuing.
Once our bags have been weighed and sent through onto the plane we head towards security where they check us and our luggage just to make sure everyone is safe
Next we head to the gate and board your plane. Once I and my parents have put our seatbelts on the plane takes off and again I insert my headphones and shut the rest of the plane out before drifting off to sleep for the entire 3 hour journey to my new life in Los Angeles.
