"You did great, by the way," Tristan spoke after a while. Minnie looked at him bewildered, her gaze turning from her phone to Tristan. They'd been stuck there for no longer than ten minutes and Minnie was already losing her head.
Minnie seemed confused, great on what? She couldn't tell what Tristan was talking about.
"Your concert, Leia and I went." Tristan looked at the girl next to her for a little while, flashing her a small friendly smile.
"You were there?" Minnie's eyes went wide, looking at Tristan with shock and confusion. "Yeah, Leia wanted to go." Tristan nodded, leaning back on the elevator walls.
"Thanks." Minnie mumbled, answering his past compliment, placing her chin on her propped arms, still somewhat huddled into the corner.
Tristan and Minnie stood quiet after a while, unsure whether or not they should even speak a syllable. They would glance at each other, their eyes meeting sometimes.
Minnie was a stubborn girl, she refused to be bossed around, and didn't enjoy confrontation. It was obvious that Tristan would break before Minnie did.
"Listen," Tristan spoke after a long silence. "About that night, I, could you just tell me if I did anything?" He turned quickly towards Minnie, who jumped at his sudden movement.
