"Minnie, you ready? We're about to go on." Tia nudged the girl, Minnie snapped out of her trance, her eyes were staring a little too long at her phone, specifically, Tristan's and Leia's posts.
Minnie had no right in feeling jealous. She, herself knew that.
She couldn't get rid of that nagging feeling though, Minnie remembered a few months ago, when she received that text from Tristan, how relieved she was when Tristan agreed to a talk.
But she was already on her plane home by the time she got that text.
Minnie regrets that, every single day she regrets leaving behind Tristan, but could she stop it? She was a musician, she couldn't really stop her tour for someone she didn't even know she liked.
Minnie placed her phone down, face first on the table before taking a deep breath, taking her guitar and placing it around her neck, following Tia to the stage.
"Mintie, you're okay right? You've got this." Tia looked at the girl straight at her deep brown eyes, trying to find any form of confirmation that she was okay.
"Yeah, I think I am." Minnie nodded, adjusting her voice pack and plugging her guitar in, before walking out and letting herself get lost in the screams of her fans.
"What's up, Houston?!" Minnie yelled into her mic, the fans scream in response, excited to see Minnie's performance begin.
The lights turned on, shining right on her. Minnie gave her people the biggest smile she could, Her fingers strummed her guitar rhythmically, it came almost second nature to the girl.
