"The award show's coming up. Your album's one of the picks." Minnie's new producer stated, looking over at the girl who was play-fighting with Tia.
"Yeah, what about it?" Minnie asked as she fought off Tia's prying fingers. "Well, are you going?" Their producer looked at them with a deadpanned look. Tia and Minnie stopped their shenanigans, looking over at the adult with unsure looks.
"Minnie and I were thinking that we didn't have to go?" Tia replied, in an unsure tone. "What do you mean? This is a big award show, if your album wins, no one gets to go up on that stage." Minnie sighed, looking down at her lap.
"I doubt we'd win, as much as I have tons of fans, my album is small, so I don't see the point and frankly, me winning." Minnie shrugged. "Maybe Tia can go?" The girl pointed to her best friend, with a grin.
"Hey!" Tia let out, offended. "There is no way I'm going to an awards show without you." Tia scoffed, leaning back on her chair, looking at Minnie with an annoyed look.
"Ugh.." Minnie whined, looking over to her producer for help. The producer merely shook her head, a tired smile plastered on her face.
"What can we even get out of it? A trophy, yeah, but that and more media coverage?" Minnie pointed behind her with her thumb, her producer growing more exhausted with the teen.
