"Tristan, are you sure you don't want to maybe, go home for a bit?" Minnie's mom patted the boys back gently, who had gone sleepy from staying up so late beside Minnie's hospital bed.
The boy quickly jumped, straightening his posture and rubbing his eyes. "Sorry, Mrs. Yoon." He mumbled out, trying to get rid of the sleep in his eyes.
"It's alright, but you should go home, anak." Minnie's mom gave him a look of sympathy, an understanding of what's going through his head, Minnie's mom has always been fond of Tristan.
Ever since Minnie met Tristan, it's always been, Tristan this and Tristan that, and Minnie's mom could've never been any happier to see that the same boy Minnie was so happy with is as equally, if not even more, in love with her than she was with him.
"It's okay, Mrs. Yoon, I don't really have anything to return to besides a hotel room," Tristan smiled softly as Minnie's mom before turning his tired gaze onto Minnie's sleeping features.
Her eyelashes grazed her cheek softly, making her twitch time to time from the ticklish feeling, the luminescent lighting of the hospital almost put a glow to Minnie's cheek, despite being sick, Tristan still thought she was gorgeous.
Tristan couldn't help but laugh at himself, he really fumbled, didn't he? He hears Minnie's mom walk away and leave the room, and he takes this time to gently graze his thumb over Minnie's cheek.
