a note to all my beloveds.

assalamu alaikum dear beautiful readers,

i cannot put into words how much i enjoyed writing this book. i can keep writing and editing and writing and editing this note but it will never be enough to describe how much this book and it's readers mean to me. it was totally worth the hard work that i put in staring at my phone screen and wondering what to add next.

however, all of this would mean nothing without all of you people that read this book.

i've always said fanfic is not free because you pay with comments and votes. not because it will give this book an 'image' as a well liked book or a well read one for that matter, but because it makes the author feel like they didn't waste their time writing a book that was read by ghosts or jinns. by having real people enjoy and comment on sections, it really made me happy and had me confident in my writing. it motivated me sooo much i promise you had it not been for you guys i was going to end this on chapter five!!

i will try to update little snippets of manal and achraf's journey (along with someone else's 😉) because i don't think i'll ever love any of my characters like how i loved manal. this means that while this book is 'completed', it still will have updates from time to time.

i feel a bit empty now that this book has finished, and a bit of a burden has been raised from my shoulders because i cannot lie and say i didn't think about this book like 24:7.

i hope i did you guys' expectations justice, and that you loved this book as much as i did.
