Surprised was an understatement. It's as if time stopped as I process his words.
David Andrew Lopez likes me?
"You like me? As a friend?" Ayaw ko umasa wag ka namang ganito David.
"Pwede ba kitang ligawan?" He asked and there I confirmed that He likes me as in that LIKE!
"David?"
"Hindi ko pala kaya na 'di ka nakikita! Honestly I was more stressed because I didn't see you the past days kaysa sa exam. You had that effect on me, Sof. Hindi lang talaga kita ginulo the past days dahil nga exam natin ayaw ko na mawala yung focus mo dahil sa pangungulit ko. But I don't think I can keep it any longer."
Hinawakan niya yung kamay ko "pwede ba kitang ligawan? yung totoo na...kasi I really like you that's the truth"
He gave me a bouquet of flowers that came out of nowhere with a note "I like you, Sof"
Gago gusto ko ng mahimatay sa kilig.
"I'll think about it" pangaasar ko sakanya pero parang mas lalo lang siyang natuwa.
"Take all the time that you need, Sof" He said and I hugged him.

"Pinapayagan kitang manligaw, David Andrew Lopez" bulong ko and I looked at him.
His eyes speaks love and mine too.
"You really like me huh?" Asar ko sakanya dahil kanina pa siya nakangiti saakin. I also can't help but smile.
"I'll make you mine, Sof" bulong niya saakin.
Alam ko, kasi dati pa naman nafall na ako sayo.
"Do your best, babe" I told him. Hindi din naman ako sasagot ng matamis na oo ng ganon ganon lang.
I know he'll work hard for it and I'll probably say Yes to him next month. After graduation.
"May kulang ka pa? I'll help you if you want" I was finishing my task when talked. Naging mas vocal lang siya sa alaga niya sakin dahil totoo naman pala. Yung mga galaw niya dati ay may gusto na pala talaga siya saakin.
"May bukas pa naman tara date?" I asked. Nakakadrain naman to. Kung kailan bukas na yung last day saka humabol ng requirements.
"Let's finish this first...I'll buy you ice cream gusto mo ba?" He sweetly said. Alam ko naman na sasabihin niya lang na unahin yung studies bago landi.
"Fine, help me nalang" sabi ko and he smiled.
Finally after two hours I finished everything thay I need to submit tomorrow!
"Thank you!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!!" I looked at him as I excitedly thank him.
"Welcome" He said and gave me a smile.
Ngayong umamin na siya mas lalo siyang hindi nahihiyang tumitig saakin. Minsan ramdam na ramdam ko yung mga mata niya. Buti nalang hindi masyado halata na kinikilig ako kasi baka sagutin ko na siya ng wala sa oras.
"Are you free later, Sof?"
"Oo naman"
"Dinner daw sa bahay" I looked at him again to confirm what he just said.
