Dolores x siren reader

Dolores kept hearing singing in the distance which seemed to draw her in.
So when everyone was asleep she couldn't help but go on a midnight adventure to figure out where this mesmerising song came from.

She walked for a while following the voice until she found a little beach area connected to the ocean.
"It's beautiful," she said while looking around.
"It really is, isn't it?" your voice suddenly appeared behind her, giving her a little scare.
"Sorry darling i didn't mean to scare you" you said with a chuckle and moved beside her.

"Did you follow the singing?" you asked, holding back a grin.
"Yes, are you also here because of that?" she asked and you let out a little laugh.
"No one that lives near here would come here, they're all scared of this area, meaning you're coming from a bit further away, which means you must have really good hearing my dear" you answered while looking at her surprised face.

"It's my gift, I'm Dolores Madrigal," she explained and you introduced yourself also.
"Why are people afraid of this place, it looks so nice" she asked while looking at you.
"Oh, they're not afraid of this place, they're afraid of what lurks in this place," you said with a smirk.

"What do you mean?" she asked, confused.
"Let me show you" you said while reaching your hand out for her to grab.
She took your hand into hers and you started to lead her into the water.
"I don't think this is safe," she said, a little unsure.
"Don't worry, it is safe, well if you're with me at least" you said pulling her further in so you both could barely stand.

"I don't understand how this is gonna show me why people are afraid of coming here" she said while looking around for clues.
"You would understand if you could keep your focus on me" you said with a slight chuckle.
She looked back at you and tried to jump back in surprise while letting out a squeal.

"Hey! Now that is dangerous!" you said while grabbing her hand and pulling her closer to you. "The waters aren't safe for humans alone, i'm the one keeping you safe right now so calm down, it's just a tail" you said and she stopped trying to get away as she understood that you were probably right.

"There you go that's better" you said as you watched her calm down.
"What are you?" she asked while looking at your scales. "Did you not realize it yet?" you asked with a chuckle and answered "i'm a siren, looking for the one who can hear my soulmate song" you said before grinning and saying "it seems like i just found her though".
