Teenage Antonio x goddess reader

"We're almost in encanto! I'm so glad we're taking a break right now" you said happily to your mother who smiled at you.

"Even a goddess needs a break sometimes" she said while petting your head.

"I'm so excited! Maybe I can make some friends" you said with a bright smile.

"I'm sure you can, my sunshine" your mother said with a smile.

"Mom look, we're here" you said excitedly as you started to run around and look at everything.

"I will settle everything into the new house so you can look around but don't take too long" she warned and you nodded.

You kept looking around for a bit until a boy approached you.

"Are you new around here?" He asked and you nodded your head.

He was accompanied by a few animals that quickly took a liking towards you.

"Im Antonio nice to meet you, beautiful" he introduced himself and you blushed a bit before introducing yourself too.

He showed you around town and introduced you to his family and explained their gifts.

You were excited to learn about all of this and you could tell that Antonio took a quick liking to you as he quickly became clingy towards you.

Even your mom noticed when you took him to her for introduction.

"I think it's time for you to go home now since it's getting late," you said and he pouted.

"Can I not stay tonight, beautiful?" He asked with puppy dog eyes and you gave in.

This was basically routine for the next two weeks.

You two would always hang out and he asked for a sleepover.

 It's been two weeks and you started to catch feelings for him as well but the news your mother brought to you tonight was something you feared.

"Sunshine we need to go back tomorrow" she said as you and Camilo got ready for bed.

"You're leaving?" Asked Antonio and you could tell that he was about to cry.

Your mother left you two alone to talk it out and you hugged him.

"Yes i'm sorry we need to go back home" you explained and you could feel him clinging tightly to you and crying into your shoulder.

"I love you Antonio and i promise that i will find a way for us to be together" you said into his ear and you could tell that he was blushing but still sobbing.

"But you're leaving, can you not stay with me? He asked while clinging more tightly to you.

"I'm sorry i can't but i will try my best to come back to you as soon as possible" you reassured him.

This night he held you as close as possible and was only able to sleep when you held him and rubbed his back.

"I will come back don't worry" you said to his sleeping figure before falling asleep.
