You always had a weird fascination with ghosts and as you grew older you decided to help them pass into their peaceful afterlife.

Most ghosts were thankful and others were rather hostile but with them you didn't mind using violence/self defense.

Today you got informed of a mansion that no one dared to enter because it was apparently haunted.

You immediately packed your bags and now you're standing in front of that very same mansion.

"Hello, anybody there?" You asked while knocking on the door to make sure really no one lived there.

The mansion was a bit run down so you assume that it's been a while since people lived here.

You pushed the door open and entered the mansion.

You quickly turned around when you heard a loud "thump" and realised the doors were shut.

You quickly ran to them and tried to open them but to no avail.

You flinched when suddenly candles and torches began to light up.

You had to deal with ghosts a lot but those events still scared you a bit.

You looked around not seeing a ghost here just yet so you decided to go up the stairs and search the other rooms.

You enter the first room and notice that it was a bit more modern than the rest of the mansion was until now.

It looked like someone was living here so you smiled to yourself and with a grin you mumbled "check pot".

Just as you were about to pull out a device from your backpack you suddenly started to float.

Your eyes widened, you had never met a ghost before that was strong enough to use its abilities.

Shivers were definitely running down your spine as you felt his power.

"I'm not here to hurt you, i actually help ghosts pass on and reunite with their loved ones" you tried to explain to the ghost.

"Maybe i don't want to pass on" you heard a voice behind you say.

You quickly turned around but saw nothing "that's one strong ghost" you thought to yourself.

"Why not,don't you miss your family?" You asked, wanting to understand his reason.

"This mansion holds great power that I keep controlled beautiful, i can't leave that easily" he explained while showing himself.

"But it is not your job since you have been sent to rest and I assume it would get pretty lonely here without your family" you tried to reason with him but quickly realised that you might have doomed yourself with those words.

"Your right, it does get lonely, but i have you now to keep me company" he said with a grin.

Sweat started to form on your forehead as you realised you messed up with those words.

"I need to get back to my life and I'm pretty sure your family is waiting for you" you tried to reason.

"This is your life now beautiful, you're mine" he said while grabbing you and pulling you into a hug.

"My family actually entrusted me with the care of this mansion, i was the youngest of my family so there counting on me to be here" were the last words you heard before passing out.
