You lived with your family well kinda. 

Your family had gifts like the madrigals. 

Your ceremony was special since u didnt only get one, no u got 2 gifts. 

One of those allowed you to manipulate memories and that's exactly what you did to your family. 

You weren't proud of it but you knew it was safer for them. 

Since they don't remember you all you do is hide in the house hiding and protecting them. 

Today was a bit different though you overheard your family talking about the madrigals that are apparently coming to visit tonight. 

You wish you could be with your family but you knew your powers were too dangerous. 

From your other gift u had a blue heart on ur wrist and if u touch it and wish something it comes true. 

Your family consisted of one younger brother, your father and your mother. 

You feel a bit guilty for leaving especially when you hear your brother whine that he wanted another sibling. 

You just layed in the hidden room under the stairs no one knew about. 

You patiently waited for the madrigals to arrive since you were always suspicious of strangers near ur family. 

Honestly there were a few times u almost got caught by your family from time to time. And your gift was fading from your brother. 

You sometimes heard him say that he thinks there's a family member missing. 

Your parents always shrugged it off thinking he was being silly. 

Then it was time the madrigals finally arrived. 

You touched your wrist and wished to be invisible. 

You followed them for a bit and watched as your mother used her gift to make things appear out of thin air like always. 

Your brother was showing off his gift of being able to manipulate water, to a boy his age u heard his name was camilo. 

Your father used his gift of being able to control objects to set the dining table. 

Once everyone sat down they started to make small talk.

 You were just about to leave when a girl names dolores asked

 "don't you have one more family member?" 

Your family was confused and replied with a quick "no". 

"Wait, who is the other person I hear in the house then?" she asked. 

"What, we should be the only ones here," your mother replied. 

"shoot" you thought trying not to make a sound as u remember that dolores probably found you thanks to her good hearing. 

"No, there's clearly a young woman here too," she said, looking in your direction. 

"i told you a family member is missing" 

Your brother yelled jumping up as his spell broke and he remembered you again. 

He quickly threw his water in the direction Dolores was looking at and he got you wet making you lose focus and you started being visible again. 

"God damn it bubba you know i hate getting wet" you whined as he ran into ur arms. 

Now that they saw you your parents started to remember you, quickly getting up and also hugging you. 

"I'm back" you said, hugging them, promising not to leave again.
