"Hey Rapunzel?" Alexis asks as she goes into Rapunzel's room seeing her sitting in a window seal.
"Alexis? I didn't hear you come in." Rapunzel says.
"You feeling okay?" Alexis asks as she sits beside Rapunzel.
"Truth? No. How about you? You seemed pretty hurt when I told you what Varian and I did." Rapunzel says as Alexis gives a sad look.
"It's not that I was hurt Rapunzel. I was just upset because Varian and I had grown pretty close since we met. He just seemed like an amazing person and then to hear he stole something like that. But then again considering his father I can't say much." Alexis says.
"I'm sorry if I hurt you Alexis. I didn't mean to." Rapunzel says.
"No, no. It's okay. Just shocked more than anything... You wanna come outside for a walk?" Alexis asks as she stands up.
"No. I think I'm gonna stay here." Rapunzel says before Alexis goes outside the room and sees Eugene.
"Well?" Eugene asks.
"No good. See if you can get anything out of her." Alexis says before she walks off.
*Timeskip*
"All set. Let's hope this works." Alexis says as she is later helping Eugene and Cassandra prepare to free Rapunzel after hearing her dad locked her in her room.
"Uh heh. Quick question. I'm not sure that I see the part of Rapunzel's escape plan that specifically says I have to be the one who gets launched from a catapult." Eugene says nervously.
"Keep lookin fly boy. It's there." Cassandra says.
"I'm sorry. Weren't you supposed to be halfway to a convent by now?" Eugene asks annoyedly.
"Yeah. Just my luck. Must've taken a wrong turn somewhere." Cassandra says
"That's the signal." Alexis says as she sees pascal's signal.
"There's nothing here that says I have to." Eugene says.
"Oop! My mistake!" Cassandra says.
"Wait! No!" Eugene shouts as he and another man are launched toward the castle.
"You enjoyed that didn't you?" Alexis asks as she smiles at Cassandra.
"Yep. Man that felt good." Cassandra says happily before the group successfully frees Rapunzel.
"Thanks guys!" Rapunzel says happily.
"Well listening to Pete play for that long wasn't easy but uh ha! I took one for the team." Lance says.
"Oh man. That sounds really rough. I feel sorry for you. By the way I fell out of a tower!" Hookfoot shouts.
"Okay everyone I'm not sure what Varian is planning - but we really have to -" Rapunzel gets cut off as everyone starts coughing due to a cloud of smoke.
"What's going on?" Alexis asks as she coughs.
"Hello Corona." An amplified voice says.
"It's Varian." Rapunzel says.
"But where is he?" Alexis asks.
"Something dark is coming for you. Our king has refused to acknowledge it. In the hopes of keeping his secret he has lied to you and vilified me. In a matter of days Corona this island and the castle itself will be overcome by this growth. It has already taken over the outskirts of the kingdom. The key to stopping this destruction is Princess Rapunzel herself. I have asked for help and have been ignored. I will not be ignored any longer. And to make sure I have your attention I've developed a new serum and created something special for you all." Varian says.
"Uh guys? There's something in the fog." Rapunzel says as the group sees something in the fog.
"W-Whoa! What is that?" Hookfoot asks.
"Well whatever it is it's fast." Eugene shouts as the creature takes out guards causing Alexis to shift to wolf form growling.
"Watch out!" Rapunzel shouts as she uses her hair to pull Eugene away from the creature.
"Dad!" Cassandra shouts as her father gets thrown in front of the group on the ground.
"Oh I liked it so much better when it was invisible!" Lance says in alarm seeing the creature as Cassandra goes over to her father.
"It's like he's playing hide-and-seek." Eugene says as Alexis smells something and follows the trail into the castle.
*Timeskip*
As Alexis follows the scent she finds Varian in the same room as Arianna.
"Varian stop!" Alexis shouts as she growls slightly and runs toward Varian.
"Alexis!?" Arianna asks in alarm.
"Why don't the both of you sleep now?" Varian asks he blows powder at Alexis and the queen causing them both to fall to the floor unconscious.
