Be Very Afraid!

As Alexis is walking she soon stops beside the fountain.

"Ugh. That same nightmare. It's been going on for a month now. It's gonna be the end of me if I don't get a decent night sleep." Alexis says tiredly.

"Hey Alexis." A voice asks revealing to be Varian.

"Oh Varian. Good to see you again." Alexis says as she smiles.

"You too. Even more glad now that you've forgiven me finally. That was not an easy task but well worth it." Varian says as he smiles nervously.

"Maybe but you earned my loyalty back alchemy boy." Alexis says causing Varian to blush as she yawns.

"Glad to hear that. You okay? You're yawning an awful lot." Varian says.

"Oh uh yeah. Fine. Just uh little tired is all. What are you doing here?" Alexis asks tiredly.

"Chasing Ruddiger. Did you see him?" Varian asks as Alexis sees something go down an alley.

"I think I just did. Come on!" Alexis says as she and Varian follow after the creature and find Ruddiger.

"There he is. Buddy! I was looking for you! Wha- What are you?" Varian asks as Ruddiger doesn't move.

"What's wrong with him?" Alexis ask.

"I'm not sure." Varian says as he and Alexis hear screaming and find Rapunzel and Eugene only to startle them.

"Sorry Rapunzel didn't mean to scare you." Alexis says.

"Varian is he okay? What happened?" Rapunzel asks as Varian places Ruddiger on a barrel.

"Uh I'm not quite sure but I think it has something to do with these news rocks. I've only been able to study them for a few hours but their affects appear to be extremely dangerous." Varian says.

"Oh yeah? More dangerous than bringing people's worst fears to live?" Eugene asks fearfully.

"Yes well if people remain under that fear spell for too long it looks like they'll become frozen with terror permanently." Varian says worriedly.

"Well gang then it sounds to me like we need to find a way to turn these fearful frowns upside down! Oh yeah sorry. That just made him more creepy." Rapunzel says as she tries to make Ruddiger smile.

"Alexis are you sure you wanna go with me and Rapunzel? You really look tired and honestly a little freaked out over something." Varian says as he is standing with Alexis while looking at the rocks.

"Varian I'm fine. I swear you've got to be the most protective and worry some person I've ever been friends with." Alexis says.

"Well I meant it when I said I was gonna make it up to you and that I didn't wanna lose you. You mean the world to me." Varian says as he smiles.

"Really?" Alexis asks curiously.

"Yeah." Varian says as he smiles before Alexis notices something by a building.

"Huh?" Alexis asks as she sees a wolf and gives a worried look.

"Did you see something?" Varian asks curiously.

"Oh uh. No, no. It's nothing. I thought I saw a cat run past. Nothing to worry about." Alexis says nervously.

"Hmm. Hey guys I think I got an idea." Varian says.

"Now theoretically if we sever this chain of rocks using one of my alchemical solutions then we can cut off the red rocks fear power." Varian says as the group is in the castle.
