"The results are in. Who will win first prize for best metal? Will it be steel for its durability and thermal conductivity or iron for its lustrous shine and high melting point?" Varian asks as he, Alexis, and Ruddiger are in his lab.
"It's ready." Alexis says as she hands Varian some hot chocolate.
"Ah yes thank you Alexis, Ruddiger. This is perfect. Warm cocoa will really hit the spot. Even more perfect having my best friend with me to help out." Varian says.
"Anytime." Alexis says as she smiles causing Varian to blush slightly.
"Hi Alexis, Varian." A voice says causing Varian to scream before he and Alexis see it is Rapunzel, Lance, Max, and Eugene.
"Hi! Hi. I uh wasn't uh expecting you so soon. I mean we did agree that I'd need at least five weeks of solitude to decipher this thing and the only lab assistants I would allow were Alexis and Ruddiger. So I thought I had some-some privacy." Varian says nervously.
"Varian don't be embarrassed." Rapunzel says.
"Hey Goggles real quick. Do you have any anti-aging alchemies? Maybe some skin-tightening serum? I'm getting older by the second." Eugene says as he looks around.
"Please be careful. That stuff is very delicate." Varian says as Eugene messed with some mixtures causing Alexis to shake her head.
"Oh thank goodness. You have the scroll." Rapunzel says seeing the scroll on a wall.
"Well of course." Alexis says.
"I do. Oh I do. And it took awhile but I composed this key to translate the text in its entirety." Varian says.
"Varian you're a genius. What's it say?" Rapunzel asks.
"This is the healing incantation this is the decay incantation and this oh-ho is a third incantation. It would allow whoever possesses the MoonStone to wield complete control over the black rocks." Varian says.
"That's why Cassandra wants the scroll." Rapunzel says.
"That's not all he found." Alexis says.
"It says here that there are four incantations not three. But I can't seem to find it anywhere on this scroll." Varian says.
"Uh guys you might wanna stop talking about the... secrets of the scroll." Lance says.
"Don't stop on my account." A voice says revealing to be Cassandra.
"Cass!" Varian shouts before Rapunzel stops him from going any closer.
"Varian don't get any closer. Hide the scroll. We cannot let her get her hands on that incantation." Rapunzel says.
"The-the scroll is worthless without the translation key." Varian says.
"Well then it sounds like I need two things." Cassandra says as Alexis shifts to wolf form growling at her.
"Get that scroll out of here. Blondie I got this." Eugene says as he, Lance, and Max start trying to fight Cassandra with no luck.
"Our heroes." Alexis says as she shakes her head before Cassandra comes over and tries to attack Rapunzel only for it to be blocked by Rapunzel's hair.
"Give me that scroll Rapunzel." Cassandra says angrily.
"Cass let's just talk." Rapunzel says as she tries to reason with Cassandra before Ruddiger gets the scroll and runs off with it and Pascal as Cassandra chases them while Rapunzel chases after her.
"She's gonna bring the whole place down." Alexis says as she and Varian watch Cassandra hit one of the machines causing rocks and machines to begin to fall as the others run to avoid getting hit while Cassandra takes the scroll.
"Hey Varian." Cassandra says as she tries to attack Varian only for Alexis to block the attack.
"Stay back Cass! I don't want to fight with you if I don't have to." Alexis says as she lowers her head and growls.
"Well then stay out of it wolf." Cassandra says as a rock hits Alexis causing her to get knocked away from Varian.
"Varian!" Alexis shouts as she sits up and sees Cassandra leaving with Varian before running off after them.
*Timeskip*
"Oh! Where'd they go? Varian! Can you hear me!" Alexis shouts as she stands in the woods having lost sight of Cassandra and Varian.
