3. BIZZARE CHARACTERS

It's beyond my imagination as to why they made every other character of the Birla family so shallow like they have no extra purpose than be a background that to not a good one, which might help the leads get together. Their characters have no depth, I guess it was all taken by the intense Abhimanyu😂😂. 

They even had such a great team of actors like Vinay Jain (Harshwardhan urf sir), Ami Trivedi (Manjari maa), and Pragati Mehra (Mahima urf taiji). These people had so much potential, all wasted.

Before the show went for the 2nd leap they could have 1st sorted out some of the issues like -

1.  The relationship between Abhimanyu and Harshwardhan. They have a fire chemistry together from day 1. We could have seen how they both start to mend their relationship with each other and also how Harshu and Akshu start to vibe with each other as well. We could see that for the story Manjari needs to hate Akshu, but if her relationship with Harshwardhan had mended well, we could have an Akshu supporter at least.

Harshwardhan is actually a great character, the changes post the 1st leap were phenomenal. the makers should have focused on Manish and his chemistry as in-laws, Abhi and his relationship, then there's him and Akshara. These scenes would have made for some of the best moments of the show and abhira's journey.

The show is solely based on the relations of each character, so why the hell were they so focused on leaps and not character interactions and their development?

2.  Why does the show never focuses on Akshara's career? I don't get it at all, this is a story of today's generation right? You showed a girl like Arohi who is extremely self-obsessed and then there's Akshara who is said to be modern but does not give a damm about her career. It is not bad to think about her family but it's sad and depressing to see a modern girl with such immense talent, taking it for granted and wasting her time. Never standing up for herself or her dreams. Now the limits have been crossed with her completely changing her career to jam-making and studying law (though I doubt, it will be put to use).

Like seriously, she could have used her talent to stand on her own feet and support her son, but no she is like betal hanging onto Abhinav and depending on him. What was the point of leap when you can't show her being strong and independent? If you are trying to copy the Kaira couple do it properly na. 

3.  Mahima taiji is a character whom the writers tried to portray as grey, but they did a horrible job of doing it. The character is a learned person but she does all these illogical things, especially after the leap, the character is beyond repair now.

before they had gone for the 2nd leap, they could have shown the bonding between Akshara and Mahima over how Akshara helped her children find meaning in life and get them the job they are happy to do and are becoming successful and Mahima coming to terms with it and starting to like Akshara again.

OH MY GOD, what was I expecting, the show did not let Akshara focus on her career, why the hell did I expect that they will do it for others? So dumb of me. Sorry, my bad.

4.  Then there's the relationship between Parth and Shefali, It had always been hanging on a single thread but it's messed up right now and the Birlas have no clue and they all call themselves a doctor family. Everyone is just focused on Arohi like she is the only person in the family. And I don't get it, she is always shown as sherlock homes, who is always spying and getting to the depth of the matter but now when there is so much going on in her said house, she does not give a damm, but she is so curious about Abhi's whereabouts after seeing a drawing on the wall. ( this shit deserves slow claps )

5. Neel's character was the one I never understood. Why was he suddenly so gullible that even after knowing Arohi's true nature he still believed her over his family, his bhai? Then there's Abhi who never believed Akshu without proof. 

Anyway, I don't get these fans who are always like #nierohi forever. like seriously, when did you people think that it was a relationship out of love and not manipulation? From their friendship to eloping, everything was preplanned to satisfy that damm girl's ego.

and fine, if he and Arohi were the parallel leads then why did the show not focus on mending their relationship and gave them a proper marriage and married life to make most of us truly believe that Arohi has seriously lost her love and not just a person who happens to be her daughter's father and a person who was just her ticket to enter the Birla family.

Anyway, again my bad, why did I expect this when even Abhimanyu and Akshara did not get to live a good marriage life even for a few months. because just 2 months after marriage 1st leap happened, and then again after getting back together in 1 month or so again another leap happened, so basically they were not even together for half a year, and have lived separately for more than 7 years. Wow, what a disaster.

I don't know what actually happened and why they came up with Neel's death track, but it was the most tragic one. ( not the death, but the consequences of his death on most of the characters)

these were some issues they could have sorted out before the 2nd leap. So, they could have insured that Akshara still had hope of coming back and being accepted into the family again. They started the generation with a new track and over the course of time tried making them #kaira with some similar tracks, but have horribly executed them.

Why is it so hard for the writers to see that the strength of the whole 3rd generation lies within #Abhira being together and not separate?

6, Manjari Maa's character is so frustrating. Every issue between #Abhira is because of her. She is the root cause of every disaster from marriage to divorce, every impulsive decision that Abhi has ever taken is because of her. Why the heck is she always so unwell? Always making Abhi do things as she wants because she is a sickly person with no actual illness.

They could have focused on her journey after her divorce, how she and akshu share such a strong bond, and how she and harshwardharn are now friends. it's also an interesting track.

But no, After the 2nd leap, she has gone on to be fully crazy. Every problem's solution for her has to always be marriage. Now also, she is like, Abhi get married, get married........she keeps chanting this all the time. ( yeh aurat abhi ki jaan lekar hi manegi) 

But out of all the most damaging character is hands down Arohi. For this character, I will need a separate rant session.
