First Person Point of View

A bright and beautiful day, walking alongside my friends and a girl whom I thought of as a little sister. The sun rays kissed my skin, enveloping me in a warm hug. But to me, this felt like a false sense of security. The sun couldn't protect me, or my friends. Yet, its kindness let me slow down and focus on the now.

These little moments, the times of peace and tranquility, where we really got to be what we really are -- kids -- meant a lot to me. Sure, we spent time travelling together, but getting to know someone better isn't just going halfway across the world. It was more about the activities we did, and how we interacted in moments where we just got to be ourselves.

I've got to learn so much about these people -- even Jotaro, who I have known for a long time. Sure, we used to be best friends, but after we fell apart, time passed, and therefore he's grown as a person. And so have I.

Anne is such a bright and free-spirited girl. Her curiosity illuminated and goes hand-in-hand with her boldness. She has the child-like innocence we all had, and I want to make sure she gets to keep it as long as possible. She's very fearless, I'll tell you that, but I hope that she can utilize that when she's older by also thinking about her actions before leaping into things.

Kakyoin is one of the smartest and kindest people I've ever met. He's your typical geek and nerd all in one; being book smart, but also mentioning references that I sometimes get and sometimes don't. His eyes light up when we understand what he's referencing, so I hope I can keep learning more about the things he likes -- just so I can keep seeing that sparkle in him. He's cool and collected, but I know inside of that quiet demeanor, he's silly and wittier than he lets on. He's someone who listens so intently, and you truly know he cares about what you're saying; and when you're done, he'll give you advice if you want it. He's the shoulder to rely on, but I hope he knows that I'd be that for him too if needed.

Polnareff, as much as I love to tease him about his flamboyancy, I truly appreciate him as a friend and ally. Despite being slightly older than me, he is so much more immature than I am -- which is saying a lot, considering I'm super duper immature. He's so playful, and our dynamic is something I've come to cherish so much. Sure, he's vengeful, but that comes from his deep sense of loyalty to the people he loves. He's our comedic relief as well (but of course, we're laughing at him, not with -- I'm much funnier than him), but he's so much more than just the token silly guy; he's reckless but brave, motivated, confident and a great friend.

Avdol is so protective of us; his caring nature is evident in all the actions he takes. He carries a great sense of honour and respectfulness, even to our enemies. Sure, I don't understand it, but it takes a lot of mental awareness to have such integrity like he does. He doesn't get me and my ironic jokes sometimes -- but he tries, and that's what matters. Avdol is very serious, but also doesn't look down on the fact that we joke around; it helps lighten the mood and keeps us very motivated. He's our voice of reason, and someone I look up to very much.

Mr. Joestar is one of the most stupid, but also smartest people I've ever met. I don't know how a guy like him survived this long out in this world, but I also do understand. He's super clever, but also very impulsive. He's also very charismatic, which makes him such a great leader. He tends to treat Jotaro, Kakyoin, Anne and I a little different, as we are young; he is so caring towards us, and just wants us to be kids. He plays along to what I say a lot, which is really nice of him. He somehow gets my humour, despite him being so old. He's the group leader and our de-facto grandad (except for Jotaro, cause that's his real grandpa).
