The next morning Michelle woke up on a shock as she looked around the room, she had forgotten where she was but once she realised she was safe she relaxed, it was 8am, it was Monday which meant Will and Jonathan were going to be at school, Michelle wasn't sure when she'd be starting but she was glad it wasn't today. Michelle stretched before pulling back the covers and climbing out of bed, she then made her bed before leaving her room, she wasn't sure when her aunt was to leave for work.

Michelle saw her aunt on the phone, she hoped it was to the principal of the school, but as she obviously couldn't read minds so she didn't know. Walking towards her aunt talking on the phone she felt different, it wasn't like yesterday, yesterday she was just going with the flow, she was meeting her aunt and cousins, she moved to America, but today, today Michelle could feel herself starting to fully grieve.

"I'll be in tomorrow, I just want to help my niece settle in after everything. But I'll need Friday morning off" Joyce said to who Michelle assumed to be her boss.

"Thank you for understanding" Joyce said a few minutes later before hanging up the phone.

"Morning Aunt Joyce" Michelle said once her aunt had put the phone down

"Morning Ellie' how'd you sleep?" Joyce asked Michelle.

"I slept fine thank you Aunt Joyce. I didn't mean to listen to your conversation but I heardYour taking the day off, you didn't have to do that" Michelle said running her hand through her tangled hair. Michelle felt disgusting, she fell asleep before she brushed her teeth the previous night but not only that, she completely forgot to pack her tooth.

"It's your first full day here with us, you don't know where anything is or your way around town. And you hardly know me as it is. So I took it upon myself to decide to take the day off, to show you around the town and we can get to know each other more" Joyce smiled to her niece.

"Thank you aunt Joyce. Could we possibly go somewhere to get me a new tooth brush please. I didn't realise yesterday that I forgot to pack mine and I fell asleep before I even brushed them. I honestly feel disgusting" admitted Michelle. Joyce nodded understanding.

During the night Joyce decided that she was going to tell Michelle everything that happened last year, although she knew she wasn't meant to tell anyone what happened and it could put Michelle in danger but she knew Michelle would question why she has to take Will out is school. Michelle was a bright girl, Joyce could tell that, Joyce also knew that if Will had a episode in front of Michelle she would have loads of questions so it was best to explain everything and answer the questions she has now rather than keep her in the dark

"We also need to go to the bank, your social worker phoned yesterday saying she sorted out all the paperwork and it's all been faxed over, I'm technically in charge of the money and stuff until you turn 18 so if theirs anything you need or want" Joyce informed her niece. Michelle smiled widely, she hoped she was able to get a bike and a skateboard seeing as her older sister was teaching her to skate before the accident, she hadn't fell off much; only once or twice.

"Do you think I could get a bike and a skateboard? I used to bike everywhere and Clara was starting to teach me to skateboard" Michelle said with a small smile, she was also going to give some money to Joyce seeing as she now had another mouth to feed.

"We can get whatever you want, that goes for food too, if theirs something you like to eat we can get that in" Joyce said, the first thing that came to Michelle's mind was pancakes, she loved pancakes.

"Pancakes and fruit" Michelle grinned.

"Okay, go get changed and we can head to the store then the bank, does that sound okay with you?" Joyce asked Michelle who simpily nodded before heading to her room. Michelle decided to wear a black skirt with a white t-shirt and a black and white hoodie, on her feet she put a pair of black vans which she owned on. Michelle brushed her hair and threw it up into a ponytail before clipping her locker around her neck, she then looked to her mums locket which was laying on the dresser, she thought she should give it to Joyce, it did have a picture of her mum and her aunt so she felt it was only right to give it to her aunt.
