Ace waved his hand in front of Zachary's face, but he didn't react. "What is going on?" Ace said to himself. Suddenly a bright yellow beam of light appeared, and a man dressed in what seemed to be one of those futuristic exoskeleton armors stepped out. The man pressed a button on his headgear, and it retracted into the back of his neck. The man's head had curly black hair; his eyes were a deep purple; he gave a smile revealing his teeth which seemed to be made completely up of canines. "Hello, Ace," The man said, "I am Agent Loghi Tarot, and I need your help." Ace stood back in shock and confusion when his eyes lingered downward and noticed that this Loghi character had a long, floppy tail with a spade shape on the end. Ace remembered when he was researching demons during the Marksman Crisis, the period of time in which Lucitanya terrorized RedThorne, that all demons have sharp teeth and irregular eye colors, some had tails, some had horns, some had both, and some had neither. Either way, Loghi was a demon.

Realizing this, Ace lunged at Loghi but found he was paused mid-air. "I had a feeling this would happen given King Lucitanya and all that." Loghi said, holding a stopwatch, "Don't worry, I'm not like the other demons you've dealt with." Loghi said, trying to calm Ace down. "I'm Agent Loghi Tarot of the DDMTT. The DDMTT is the Divine Department of Multiversal and Time-linear Travel. I am an Agent of Time, which basically means I'm a time cop." Loghi explained. Ace found that he could still talk, "Why would I trust you?" Ace snarled, "Look; you don't have to trust me; I just need your help because there's a lot at stake right now." Loghi pleaded, "Fine, I'll hear your bullshit story." Ace said "Thank you, first I'll tell you what the DDMTT actually does. The Divine Department of Multiversal and Time-lineal Travel is an organization run by the god of space and the god of time in order to keep order within the universes and their timelines. I've only been permitted to tell you about timelines, so those are basically the many variants of a universe; every choice creates a new timeline, excluding the outcomes of significant events in universal history. Recently in one timeline, some scientists tried to create a human-dinosaur hybrid. Their first experiment was a successes, but it was extremely intelligent. The experiment, which they called DN-110, learned how the original dinosaurs died, being killed off by humans and demons, and thought he should avenge them. The experiment stole a Traveller's Watch, a device Agents of Time use to time travel, and booked it." Loghi explained. "Why would that concern me?" Ace replied, still not buying Loghi's story, "It's his methods of avenging his fallen ancestors that you should worry about. There's this ancient artifact called The Infinite Hour Glass, its pieces are scattered throughout time, and if assembled, they could be used to rewrite the very fabric of time. DN-110 intends to assemble The Infinite Hour Glass to erase human and demon kind from every single timeline in this universe, that would kill every person in the current timelines." Loghi said, hoping to convince Ace to help. Ace pondered this proposition; if this demon told the truth, many lives could be in grave danger. Ace didn't doubt Loghi about time travel since he was directly experiencing time manipulation. "Fine." Ace finally said, "If you're telling the truth, a lot of people could die, and I'm not gonna risk that." "I knew you'd come around eventually. You won't regret this." Loghi said, thanking Ace, "I better not." Ace replied, still not trusting the demon. Loghi unfroze Ace, causing him to fall to the ground. "What do we do first?" Ace asked, "The first piece is in 1872, located in Arizona." Loghi said, adjusting his Traveller's Watch.
