Cabin 13

Comfort

It has been a few months since the whole drama went down. I have told the group about it and everyone was weired out at first but once they met Nicole they were happy to take her in. For the sake of the gods, Nico and Will even agreed to babysit her. I also made Nico cry when he found out I named my first kid after him but then he was enraged because I gave her Luke's last name. The only think I left out was Luke being alive cause there is no way I'm bring that anxiety to the table.

I've also been claiming demi-gods left and right cause the gods be lacking. I already have Hayley+Dylan Lightwood (Hephaestus), Victoria Ward(Athena), Riley Smith (Hermes)and Chase Argent (Ares). Because of this I already have my own Cabin, Cabin 14. I even asked Hayley to be camp cancellor along side Dylan. This obviously brought me a lot of responsibility but I handled it okay, it was Luke that I couldn't handle.

I was in the Hades cabin, staring at the ceiling when I heard a knock. I knew it wasn't Nico, Percy or Annabeth because they had some fancy quest. It wasn't Will because he was busy at the infirmary. Clarrise and Chris were college searching so not them. Jason, Piper, Hazel and Frank were on a double date. So this only leaves Leo, Grover or Rachel.

I stepped towards the door and opened, I was greeted with Leo's warm smile.

"What do you want Valdez?" I rolled my eyes, trying to hide the relief that it wasn't Rachel(she annoyed her earlier).

"Will told me there is something off about you and I wanted to check you were okay" his smiled faded ever so slightly.

Something I noticed about Leo recently is that his smile tends to fade after a few seconds of holding it, as if it's fake. I brought it up with Jason but he told me he never noticed it so I though I was just going crazy. But now, seeing it happen again, I know my mind isn't playing tricks.

"I'll tell you if you tell me what's up with you. Don't even try hiding it bad-boy-supreme" I smiled slightly at the nickname. His smiled and it looked genuine. Leo nodded and I let him in.

No one's pov:

Maeve and Leo sat on Maeve's coffin shaped bed and Leo looked down, not knowing if he should really bring any of this up but something in his told him to trust Maeve. So he did.

He told Maeve about being thrown in a fire by Hera, his mom, Foster homes and anything else about his childhood that really bothered him. By the end he was already sobbing but he noticed that Maeve was hugging him, something she never did for anyone (except Nico or Nicole). Simply by that he carried on talking about how everything made him feel. About how although he was happy about everyone's happiness he wanted that too.

It took awhile for him to calm down but he did, with the help of Maeve. Then Leo held her hand and nodded at her, as a signal of him being okay and for her to spill it all out.

She broke down before she even started talking. She talked about Luke and how their relationship was 2 years strong and he betrayed her. He joined her grandfather and tried to kill all her friend and her multiple times. She explained how no one even batted an eye at her thinking she already saw it coming.

Leo broke down too and they were holding each other while crying unaware of the person at the cabin window, watching them (creepy much).

Outside the cabin, Luke Catellan stood with flowers in his hand. He had tears as he thought today was the day to explain to Maeve why he did what he did. Explain that he did it out of love, to protect her from her own family. Now he knew how he made her feel and he became more determined.

He needed to explain. He needed his goddess back.
