I'm waiting to walk down the aisle and I can't believe I signed up to do this. I mean I remember telling my friends that I wanted to sign up for married at first sight and they all looked at me like I was crazy. But I mean after the terrible dating luck I've had for the past 10 years why not give this a try. I just really hope they matched me with a girl that I can see myself loving that's all I can ask for.

The music begins to play. That's my cue. My dad looks over to me. "You ready Lauren." I nod not trusting myself to speak right now. I'm so overwhelmed and I'm unsure of if it's in a bad or good way. But here goes nothing because they open the doors and we begin to walk.

We get to the end of the aisle and now we wait because it's my future wife's turn to walk. Future wife that's so weird I can't believe I'm going to marry someone I've never met before. But I have no time to really process this thought because I hear my maid of honor gasp. I immediately want to turn around but instead I ask what's the matter.

"She's beautiful, like extremely beautiful you're gonna love her." I squeal in excitement because who knows me better than my best friend, Camila. I mean because all I know is that her name is Normani. So the fact that Camila says she's beautiful is a good thing to hear because she knows what I like so that hopefully means I'll be attracted to her. Now I just hope our personalities and interests mesh well with each other. Actually they should because these are experts that set us up together. Duh Lauren.

When she finally arrives at the altar I am allowed to turn and look and I can't help but gasp as well.

She is absolutely beautiful like Camila said she was. We say our vows and all throughout them I'm stuttering and stumbling over my words. Camila whispers, "Pull it together will you."

I can't help it because she's so adorable looking at me that no matter what I do I can't help my nervousness. I eventually make it through the vows and Camila whispers a little louder this time, "Glad that's over it was starting to get painful." My bride to be smiles a bit and looks right into my eyes. Her maid of honor looks pass me to Camilla mouthing something and smiling. But I don't catch what she's mouthing because my eyes are back on my soon to be wife's and for a moment our eyes meet and I can see that she's nervous too and it calms me. I smile back.

She says her vows stumbling a bit too. Her maid of honor whispers, "Not again." Normani looks at me as if she's trying to figure out if I heard her maid of honor or not. I just give her a reassuring smile and she continues. After that we kiss and it's a nice kiss not a mind blowing one but a sweet kiss that says I'd like to see what this could become.
